Position Overview

International is currently searching for a Manufacturing Engineer Sr. - S13 Assembly to join our Huntsville Engine Plant.

Schedule: Monday through Thursday: 7:30 PM - 6:00 AM

Responsibilities

  • Support 2nd Shift for S13 Diesel Engine Assembly Line in day-to-day production activities to help meet customer product demand
  • React to equipment uptime issues and drive towards permanent, cost-effective, and long-term solutions
  • Perform research, design, and development of manufacturing processes including production flow, assembly methods, and production equipment
  • Assist in the accomplishment of plant quality and production objectives
  • Perform product/process analysis for safety/ergonomics, quality improvement, and improved efficiency
  • This position is an active on the floor support position which could entail standing for long periods of time


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of product manufacturing experience

OR
  • Master's degree and no experience

OR
  • At least 3 years of product manufacturing experience


Additional Requirements

  • Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Desired Skills

  • Strong CAD experience, AutoCAD and NX Team Center preferred
  • Ability to design and implement 3D printed tools and fixtures
  • Familiarity with assembly tools including Atlas Copco DC torque tools, Camera Vision Systems, AGV's, etc.
  • Must be proficient in computer usage including MS Office.
  • Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, etc.
  • Familiarity with quality tools and processes including 8D Root Cause Analysis, PFMEA, etc.
  • Must have thorough mechanical understanding of machines, tools, vehicles, and their design
  • Must be able to work well in a dynamic manufacturing environment with positive attitude, ethics, and International Values
  • Must demonstrate advanced reasoning skills, problem sensitivity, and data analysis
  • Must have advanced mathematical skills; be able to use engineering judgment and critical thinking
  • Must demonstrate ability to be self-directed
