About the role:

As a Manufacturing Engineer/Project Manager, you will be responsible for project management. This will range from low to complex projects, encompassing all project processes. Your goal will be to meet project objectives, including EHS, scope, budget, timing, and business case goals.

You will report to the Engineering Manager and be located at Blairsville, PA. You will support this role 100% onsite.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsibility for project leadership includes business case and charter development. It also includes economic and technical feasibility assessment, and scope, spec, and concept design development. Additionally, it involves funds approval, detailed design, development and fabrication, IQ/OQ/PQ (installation qualification/operational qualification/production qualification), training, and project close-out.
  • Project leadership requires integration of team efforts across multifunctional groups with a focus on ensuring compliance to safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Mitigate risk through risk register development and mitigating actions with tracking.
  • Provide routine updates on status against scope, budget, timing, and business case goals.
  • Develop relationships with product line team, customer, suppliers, and other partners to guide projects to successful completion.
  • Apply engineering skills to identify root cause failures and implement corrective actions to prevent repeat issues.
  • Prepare technical papers and make formal presentations to internal and external customers or other stakeholders.


Qualifications:
  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
  • 3+ years of experience in a project manager role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with the Project Management Institute (PMI®)'s Project Management Body of Knowledge.
  • We prefer PMI® Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification or other approved equivalent project management certification.
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft® Office tools including Microsoft Project.


We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $85,200 to $106,500 per year.
