  • Leads by example living our core values.
  • Develops oneself to become the Subject Matter Expert on the global and local processes across different Operations areas and product families.
  • Develops oneself to become the Subject Matter Expert responsible for the development, implementation, continuous improvement and daily support of all production software.
  • Identifies and drives improvement projects and initiatives to support Cost, Quality, Delivery and Safety initiatives.
  • Participates in project team meetings, manages tasks, schedule and deliverables for achieving successful on schedule completion with a high degree of quality and attention to detail.
  • Proactively identifies growth and development opportunities within their role both technical and professional and drives for continual improvement.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Competencies (Knowledge and Skills needed for this position.)

  • Lead through vision. Keep the Company's vision at the forefront in decision-making and action.
  • Knowledge of relevant product development methods and best practices (i.e. Design for Manufacturing, PFMEA, Lean, Agile development).
  • Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills required.
  • Excellent people skills required.
  • Self-motivated with strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to effectively prepare and deliver technical reports and presentations.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office: Word, Excel, Powerpoint.

Required Education:
  • BS in Engineering or related field


Preferred Education:
  • Advanced degree in Engineering or related field


Experience:
  • Hearing or medical device experience preferred.
  • Understanding of LEAN methodologies, the tools and has experience using them.
  • 2+ years of experience in a production environment with assembly and leading engineering projects.


Travel:
  • Limited travel as needed by project. 2-3 weeks annually.

Office and light assembly operations.

Physical Demands:

Sitting, standing, walking and support of assembly operations. No heavy lifting or strenuous activity.
