Full Job Description
Description

The Managing Director, US Wholesale FP&A is the senior finance business partner to the $3.8B US Wholesale Sales and Marketing organization and is accountable for designing and leading the FP&A services, operating model, and team that support profitable growth. This leader will move the partnership beyond data delivery by bringing an independent point of view, constructively challenging commercial assumptions, and shaping sales, pricing, margin, mix, channel, customer, and investment decisions.

The Managing Director will set priorities across a broad stakeholder group, translate requests into an integrated decision-support outline, and ensure output is forward-looking, actionable, and executive-ready. The role will build organizational capability through clear work design, process ownership, automation, scalable analytics, and deliberate talent development while advancing the broader FP&A transformation from data provider to trusted business partner.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the senior FP&A business partner to US Wholesale Sales and Marketing leadership, focused on insight, influence, and decision support; bringing financial judgment and a clear commercial point of view to strategic, operating, and investment decisions.
  • Challenge business assumptions, surface tradeoffs, and recommend actions across pricing, volume, product and channel mix, customer economics, margin, selling expense, commissions, and growth initiatives
  • Lead the financial dimension of US Wholesale sales strategy, helping leaders evaluate where and how to grow, the economics and risks of proposed actions, and the performance measures required to track outcomes.
  • Present to senior TBC leadership regarding US Wholesale performance, outlook, strategic and investment decisions, bringing clarity and understanding.
  • Design the US Wholesale FP&A operating model, including service catalog, roles, capacity model, review cadence, escalation paths, and workflow from request intake through analysis, recommendation, decision, and follow-through.
  • Establish and maintain trusted partnerships across a broad group of Sales and Marketing leaders with competing priorities, viewpoints, and working styles; create alignment on the highest-value work and negotiate practical tradeoffs to manage capacity.
  • Lead the annual budget, long-range plan, rolling forecast, risks and opportunities, and monthly performance outlook for US Wholesale, integrating commercial assumptions with enterprise planning requirements.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Be the owner of Wholesale's analytical operating cadence: monthly business reviews, project-economics deep-dives, financial modeling and discipline of business decisions.
  • Develop financial strategies that support growth, margin discipline, and operational excellence in the Wholesale Sales business as well as provide insights and recommended solutions into trailing business performance metrics.
  • Oversee analytics centered on optimizing profitability.
  • Own the quality and continued upscaling of US Wholesale FP&A output, including leadership review materials, executive and Board inputs, channel reporting, scorecards, margin analytics, forecast narratives, and decision-oriented recommendations.
  • Advanced profitability insights at the customer, brand, product, channel, transaction type, and delivery-mode levels; connect volume, price, cost, mix, rebates, freight, distribution cost, commissions, and selling expense to business actions.
  • Guide development of analytical financial models and business cases for pricing actions, sales programs, customer opportunities, RFPs, commercial investments, and other growth initiatives; define decision criteria and conduct post-implementation review of outcomes.
  • Drive a sustained automation and simplification roadmap for recurring reporting, commission processes, forecast inputs, reconciliations, deal modeling, and analytics; reduce manual Excel work, improve controls, and shorten cycle times.

Continued Responsibilities

  • Lead adoption of planning, reporting, and analytics tools, including effective integration of Oracle EPM Planning, Power BI, ERP data, and other relevant platforms into the Wholesale FP&A operating model.
  • Establish strong governance over assumptions, definitions, source data, reconciliations, version control, and executive reporting so business partners can make decisions with confidence.
  • Contribute as a leader of the broader FP&A organization by modeling the shift from report production to proactive business partnership, sharing scalable practices, and supporting enterprise-wide priorities.
  • Provide financial leadership and governance for Wholesale incentive programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives, performance expectations, and enterprise financial discipline.
  • Other duties as assigned.
