Overview

The Managing Director, Wealth Operations and Innovation is responsible for overseeing all operational, reporting, and client service activities within United Community Wealth. This role is a key member of the Wealth executive leadership team and will serves as strategic leader for enhancing the advisor and client experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wealth management operations, product, compliance, and client service.

What You'll Do

  • Supervise and optimize day-to-day operational activities within the wealth management division.
  • Implement and enhance operational processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the smooth execution of financial transactions and account management processes.
  • Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement compliance procedures and policies to mitigate operational risks.
  • Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and ensure that the operations team is informed and compliant.
  • Evaluate and implement technology solutions to streamline operational processes and enhance client services.
  • Work closely with IT and other relevant departments to integrate and optimize wealth management systems.
  • Lead and mentor a team of operations and client service professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with client services teams to ensure timely and accurate resolution of client inquiries and concerns.
  • Implement measures to enhance the overall client experience.
  • Generate and analyze operational reports to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for efficiency gains.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on key performance indicators and operational metrics.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

This position manages operations and client service employees and is responsible for the coaching, development, and performance management of those employees.

Greenville, SC or Orlando, FL

POSITION TYPE

This is a full-time position that requires schedule flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

TRAVEL

This position requires up to 25% travel.
