Title: Managing Director

Compensation: $90,000 - $100,000/year + Bonus

Schedule: Full-Time; Monday - Friday

Location: Westlake Village, CA

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Managing Director to lead day-to-day operations across all departments and service lines within our organization. This individual will partner closely with executive leadership to turn vision into action by driving operational excellence, financial performance, team accountability, and an exceptional client experience. The Managing Director will oversee cross-functional operations including Physical Therapy, Kitchen, Lab, Strength, and Front Desk teams while fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture focused on growth and continuous improvement.

What You'll Do:
  • Translate organizational vision into actionable goals, operating plans, and measurable KPIs
  • Lead and facilitate leadership meetings while ensuring accountability and follow-through on priorities
  • Oversee operational alignment across all departments to ensure consistency, efficiency, and collaboration
  • Monitor financial performance, budgeting, forecasting, billing, collections, and expense management
  • Identify operational challenges and implement strategic solutions to improve efficiency and outcomes
  • Oversee facility operations to ensure a clean, safe, and client-ready environment
  • Manage vendor relationships, equipment oversight, and capital improvement needs
  • Improve cross-functional workflows to create a seamless client experience across all service lines
  • Partner with leadership on strategic marketing initiatives and external partnerships
  • Review business and marketing metrics to support revenue growth and operational capacity
  • Directly supervise department leaders and key administrative staff
  • Conduct coaching, performance management, goal setting, and employee development initiatives
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, professionalism, and high performance
  • Serve as a professional point of contact for agents, clients, and partners by providing support through in-person meetings, calls, and operational follow-up
  • Represent the organization within the community by supporting youth programs, building relationships, and increasing community engagement and participation
  • Respond to urgent or emergency facility-related calls and operational matters outside of regular business hours as needed


What You'll Need to Succeed:
  • 5+ years of progressive leadership or operations management experience in a multi-department or service-based organization
  • 3+ years of direct experience managing managers, department heads, budgets, and KPIs
  • 2+ years of experience with inventory control, invoice review, and operational financial oversight
  • Experience working with high-touch or confidential clientele and vendor relationships preferred
  • Experience in sports performance, healthcare, hospitality, wellness, or related industries strongly preferred
  • Strong operational and financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L exposure
  • Proven success improving systems, driving efficiency, and supporting organizational growth
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and align teams
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible, adaptable, and solutions-oriented with strong decision-making abilities
  • Experience in sports performance, healthcare, fitness, wellness, or related industries preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Sports Management, or related field preferred
  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
  • Experience with social media platforms, AI tools, Canva, or related operational/branding tools is a plus
