What We Need:

We are looking for a proven leader to oversee the Elvis Duran Podcast Network with experience developing engaging audio content and driving audience growth. Must have a deep understanding of pop culture, entertainment digital creators, and social media trends. Strong organizational, communication, and budget management skills are essential, along with the ability to lead projects from concept to launch. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, creative problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for innovative podcast storytelling.

                                                                             

What You'll Do:

  • Guiding the development of assigned podcasts

  • Providing input and shaping the delivery of podcast content

  • Delegating duties and show assignments for Supervising Producers and Producers

  • Managing show budgets and communicating needs with talent and other departments

  • Discovering, recruiting, and developing new talent and show concepts for the Company, whether for specific sales needs or pure content trends

  • Developing and producing new shows and new slates of shows for the Company, including overseeing casting and piloting of episodes through to launch and promotion across all media, and managing the Company's relationships with content and/or business partners

  • Driving brand growth for the network, including audience development and cross-show promotional strategy

  • Working with the Sales Department to package and present shows to advertisers and sponsors

  • Working with Finance to package and communicate quarterly statements to talent and business partners

  • Working with Executive Producer to oversee production of all podcasts inclusive of staffing, pre/post production, etc. 

                                                                             

What You'll Need:

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a creative environment taking projects from idea to flight

  • Knowledge of current and emerging pop culture, internet culture, and entertainment

  • Exceptional organizational skills

  • Experience guiding others' work, including delivering performance feedback

  • Experience interviewing, hiring, and training employees and setting compensation terms

  • Ability to prioritize and delegate responsibilities

  • Proven experience working well in team environments

  • A strong and wide network to draw on as unanticipated needs arise

  • Efficiency and grace under tight deadlines

  • Managerial experience

  • Knowledge of sound recording and editing

  • A knowledge of 9what works in audio storytelling1 along with an inclination to push boundaries and innovate

  • Comfort and creativity with managing budgets and making the most of limited resources

Compensation:


Salary to be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and alignment with market data.
