Compensation includes a base salary in the range of $81,400.00 - $122,000.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

What You’ll Do

“Leadership” is the name of the game for this position. You’ll be responsible for making sure that the shop runs smoothly and safely, while also serving as a vehicle expert and mentor for your team. Here’s what you’ll do:

· Manage and provide direction to the supervisors, teams, and team members.

· Ensure systems are in place to efficiently and effectively manage quality work in accordance with factory standards, company policies and customer expectations.

· Ensure customer satisfaction through the direction of technicians/shop staff in the performance of quality maintenance and repair work.

· Prepare schedules and plan staff rotations to ensure maintenance/repair work is completed as quickly and efficiently as possible.

· Analyze incoming vehicles for service needs.

· Maintain supply and support systems, including technical reference material, workshop supplies and other related materials.

· Conduct periodic spot checks of completed jobs for thoroughness and quality.

· Mentor and teach technicians to ensure overall growth of the team.

· Ensure that all personnel adhere to company policies and comply with federal, state, and local regulations.

Who You Are

You’re a great communicator who knows how to inspire and motivate. A detail-oriented individual, you equip your team to produce high-quality work every day. Naturally, you have a love of all things automotive. You also have the following qualifications:

Minimum:

· BA/BS degree and 7+ years of related experience (reconditioning and/or lot operations; body shop; automotive service and/ or repair; or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience). No Degree, 11 years of relevant work experience needed.

· At least 1 year of experience in a management or lead role.

· Good communication and interaction skills.

· Good management and organizational skills.

· Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required.

· The ability to lift 1-30 pounds (light hand tools, etc.).
