Description / Scope / Mission

Manages all activities related to the Value Stream Area to ensure the achievement of production, quality, maintenance, and safety objectives, ensuring that the delivery time of goods and the level of quality defined by customers are met.

Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities

  • Ensures the timely and correct startup of various production activities, adjusting the weekly staff schedule and aligning production needs. Ensures that production follows the planned schedule, meeting deadlines, quality standards, and internal requirements. Coordinates format changes on production lines. Respect for order deadlines, Lead the Operational instructions, Achieve Production KPIs (Safety, Quality OEE, Labor Efficiency, Unplanned Down Time, etc.)
  • Manages operators in the Value Stream Area in accordance with labor laws, company policies, and group procedures. Works with planning to prepare the shift work schedule and ensures its implementation. Maintaining set schedules, WIP
  • Actively participates in monitoring the productivity of work centers in the Value Stream Area, ensuring the achievement of production, quality, maintenance, and storage targets in terms of volumes, quality, costs, and delivery times.
  • Has a forward-looking view of their Value Stream and proposes possible improvements to their supervisor.
  • Ensures compliance with safety regulations, company rules in this area, internal regulations, and the use of prescribed PPE.
  • Actively participates in Lean Manufacturing activities, coordinates the 2nd level Help Chain, and ensures the activation of the 3rd level of Help Chain to resolve all issues within the Value Stream Area. Problem Solving, KAIZEN events
  • Responsible for ensuring safe working conditions for subordinate personnel and actively participates in training and development programs for employees.

  • Train supervisors and all the employees under their responsibility in the different areas of expertise required for a Making Operation, that includes: Chemical, Mixing, Blending, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), Engineering Standards, Customer Requirements, Good utilization of the equipment, and the general soft skills to manage a great labor environment.


Education / Certification / Qualifications / Experience

  • Education:

BS in Engineering or related field

  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 10+ years of Operational experience
  • Data Tracing and analytical skills
  • Project Management
  • SAP knowledge is a plus .
  • Controls and HMDI
