Location : Manchester, CT, can be hybrid, must be onsite 4 days/week

About the Opportunity:

Reporting to the Chief Accounting Officer is responsible for stewardship for financial assets and debt, including overall responsibility for the cash, debt, and investment management. The Manager, Treasury understands the business and manages the financial risks including operational, interest rate, and credit risk. The ideal candidate will have experience in corporate treasury, implementing financial strategies, and creating and driving significant process improvements that create an efficient organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Manages the organization's financial resources, monitors cash inflows and outflows, forecasts cash needs, and ensures the availability of funds to cover operations expenses, investments, and debt obligations
  • Support corporate liquidity, investments, and risk management related to the company's financial activities
  • Develops comprehensive treasury strategies and policies that align with the organization's financial objectives and risk tolerance
  • Evaluates and recommends improvements to treasury processes and systems to enhance efficiency and control
  • Maintains complex cash forecast models to assist in determining future cash needs of the organization
  • Manages and ensures accuracy and timeliness of debt and cash financial information, including cash forecasting and related accrual accounts
  • Manages treasury operations to ensure efficient cash management to adequate liquidity to meet day-to-day worldwide operational and strategic business needs
  • Maintains an excellent relationship with the company's banking partners (both commercial/investment banks), including all lender reporting
  • Manages payment processing and fraud prevention functions
  • Ensures compliance with financial arrangements-loans, bond covenants and all compliance certificates
  • Ensures treasury activities are in compliance with policies, accounting guidelines, governance policies, and internal controls
  • Supports the company insurance strategy including insurance programs for property, casualty, D&O, cyber and general liability
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree Finance, Economics, or Accounting
  • 3+ years of progressively responsible treasury experience, plus 2 with management
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis.
  • Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree preferred.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think analytically, problem solve and provide actionable solutions to drive business performance
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively; effectively managing priorities while meeting tight deadlines
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to convey complex information and key concepts adapted for internal and external audiences
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Thorough understanding of derivatives, hedging, investments, bank account management, and funds flows
  • Knowledge of capital and currency markets, accounting, finance and tax
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principals
  • Experience in SEC reporting & SOX compliance, as well as statutory and GAAP reporting
  • Mergers and Acquisitions experience

Working Conditions
  • Must be able to have prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds.
  • Personal protective equipment (e.g., safety glasses and safety shoes) is required on the shop floor
  • Occasional weekend and evening work may be required to accommodate priorities, deadlines, and schedules.
