Summary:The Odessa Training Center Manager will provide leadership and oversight for training center operations, ensuring the effective delivery of technical training programs that support operational excellence and workforce readiness. This role requires a strong leader who can manage multiple priorities, build and maintain relationships with Operations and key stakeholders, and drive execution across training initiatives. Beyond facility administration, the position has accountability for technical training coordination, onboarding support, instructor engagement, and training performance management.
Key Responsibilities• Lead all aspects of Odessa Training Center operations, including safety, scheduling, facility and equipment stewardship, instructor coordination, training utilization, service quality, and issue resolution.
• Serve as the execution lead for Operations onboarding and new hire training initiatives, managing logistics, instructor coordination, participant experience, field-readiness activities, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Maintain a consolidated view of technical training demand, schedules, vendor relationships, course offerings, equipment requirements, and resource utilization.
• Drive consistency and alignment of training center practices across multiple training locations, as applicable.
• Partner with Training, Operations Qualification (OQ), and Operations leadership to align technical training programs with competency development, qualification requirements, and business priorities.
• Establish and maintain an instructor and subject matter expert (SME) engagement model that effectively leverages experienced employees while preserving organizational knowledge.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies through vendor optimization, shared curriculum development, improved scheduling, increased utilization, and reduced duplication of effort.
• Lead monthly operational reviews to assess training demand, delivery performance, utilization, costs, participant feedback, risks, and continuous improvement opportunities.
• Responsible for the successful execution and coordination of training center operations and technical training activities.
• Works collaboratively with instructional design, Learning Management System (LMS), and OQ teams but does not serve as the primary owner of those functions.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of training experience.

- Usually, normal office working conditions.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
- Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
