Job Overview
The Manager, Technical Product Owner (TPO) for Service & Repair plays a critical role in shaping and delivering digital products that support global service and repair operations. This role partners closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and service operations to define product vision, prioritize work, and deliver solutions that improve service quality, efficiency, and customer experience. This is an exciting opportunity to lead transformative initiatives in a highly visible area, leveraging technology to enhance service performance and drive business impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and define the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for Service & Repair technology solutions aligned with business priorities
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (Commercial Technology, Service Operations, Engineering, and Quality teams) to gather and translate requirements into actionable product features
- Prioritize backlog items and lead agile ceremonies to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of product enhancements
- Drive continuous improvement of service and repair processes through technology, analytics, and automation capabilities
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design, develop, and implement scalable and compliant digital solutions
- Monitor product performance, service metrics, and user feedback to inform enhancements and optimize outcomes
- Ensure compliance with quality, regulatory, and safety standards across service and repair solutions
- Lead and coach team members or junior product owners, ensuring alignment and delivery excellence
- Communicate product updates, risks, and progress to senior leadership and stakeholders
- Champion adoption of new tools and processes to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (required).
- Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) (preferred).
Experience and Skills
Required
- 6+ years of relevant experience in product management, technical product ownership, or service technology solutions
- Experience working in Agile environments with responsibility for backlog management and delivery
- Strong understanding of service and repair operations, field service systems, or customer service technologies
- Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and product features
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and business stakeholders
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Preferred
- Experience in healthcare, medical devices, or regulated industries
- Familiarity with service management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Salesforce Service Cloud)
- Experience with digital transformation initiatives or large-scale system implementations
- Knowledge of data analytics, reporting tools, and performance metrics relevant to service operations
- Proven ability to lead teams and influence without direct authority
- Experience driving process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives

- Certifications (preferred): Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager, or equivalent
