Full Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a hands-on Manager to oversee and optimize Skylo's IPX, hubbing, and clearing-partner ecosystem. As we scale toward 150 MNO relationships, Syniverse, BICS, Comfone, and other external partners must operate as organized, high-performing extensions of our network. You will be the primary operational owner for the contracts, daily operating cadence, and onboarding paths that determine how quickly new roaming partners reach production.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage Partnerships: Coordinate IPX, hubbing, and clearing relationships end-to-end, including tracking contracts, rate cards, renewals, and capacity commitments.
  • Track Performance: Maintain measurable SLAs and vendor scorecards covering GT routing turnaround, IPX ports, IREG/TADIG scheduling, and clearing setup.
  • Run Operations: Facilitate monthly operating reviews with partners, documenting action items, deadlines, and tracking escalation decisions.
  • Cross-Functional Interface: Act as the core daily contact for partner dependencies across Sales Engineering, Network Integration, NOC, and Finance.
  • Support Capacity Planning: Coordinate with internal teams to align the MNO onboarding pipeline with partner demand and delivery plans.
  • Mitigate Risk: Support the implementation of a multi-sourcing strategy to reduce carrier concentration and continuity risk.
  • Troubleshoot Issues: Review commercial or operational breakdowns with enough roaming familiarity to track down vendor issues and drive corrective action.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 4+ years of experience in carrier interconnect, wholesale roaming, IPX/GRX, or telecom vendor operations.
  • Experience managing day-to-day operations with strategic suppliers and telecom partners.
  • Solid working familiarity with SS7/MAP and Diameter signaling, GT/point-code routing, and IPX interconnect operations.
  • Strong knowledge of IR.21/RAEX, IREG/TADIG testing schedules, and basic TAP/RAP/BCE workflows.
  • Demonstrated success administering telecom agreements, monitoring service levels, and handling operational escalations.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to turn ambiguous operational issues into structured tasks.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience with NTN, NB-IoT, IoT roaming, or rapidly growing multi-MNO networks.
  • Familiarity with GSMA processes and ticketing platforms like Jira and Confluence.
