Job Description
As the Manager, Technical Enablement, you will join the Global Sales and Marketing organization, leading a team responsible for advancing technical excellence and capability development across Rockwell Automation and our partner network.
You will lead a team of professionals focused on designing, delivering, and scaling technical enablement programs that strengthen product adoption, accelerate technical selling effectiveness, and enhance portfolio competency. This includes ownership of key global programs such as the Early Adopter Program, PowerHour Program, and Hands-on Technical Training (HOTT) Program.
You will work with the Product Business Units, Sales, Marketing, and Market Access teams to ensure enablement strategies align to commercial priorities and drive measurable business impact.
Your Responsibilities:- Lead and develop a high-performing team, delivering global technical enablement across Rockwell Automation and the partner network while building capability, leadership, and future readiness
- Define and execute enablement strategies and core programs, including Early Adopter, PowerHour, and Hands-on Technical Training (HOTT), to drive product adoption, technical selling effectiveness, and partner capability development
- Drive enablement for new product introductions and strategic programs, partnering with Product Business Units to align to commercial release objectives and accelerate early adoption, capturing social proof and demonstrating market acceptance and value
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Market Access teams to maximize commercial impact at scale, translating enablement strategies into measurable outcomes across the ecosystem
- Be a trusted advisor across stakeholders, demonstrating broad expertise in the Rockwell Automation portfolio, system architectures, and how solutions deliver customer value
- Design and deliver scalable learning experiences, including instructor-led, virtual, and hands-on formats, while evolving methods, approaches, and technologies to improve effectiveness, engagement, and reach
- Establish and manage performance metrics, tracking adoption, engagement, and business impact to guide decisions and improvement
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in enablement programs, applying feedback, performance insights, and modern learning practices to increase scalability and impact
The Essentials - You Will Have:- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Years of Relevant Work Experience
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
- The ability to travel 20% of the time.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:- Typically requires 5+ years of experience in industrial automation, technical enablement, or related roles
- Demonstrated experience in customer-facing or sales-support technical functions, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
- Experience with automation systems, architectures, and application use cases
- across technical and business audiences
- Experience working in a global, matrixed organization
- Experience leading technical enablement, training, or capability development programs at scale
- Knowledge of Rockwell Automation products, software, and solutions portfolio
- Experience working with partner or distributor ecosystems
