The Manager/Director, Strategic Analytics and Operations position is responsible for analyzing complex revenue cycle, operational, and patient data to deliver actionable insights that improve financial performance and operational efficiency. This role partners with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to access, validate, and synthesize data from disparate electronic medical record (EMR), practice management, billing, and ancillary systems to produce meaningful reporting, identify trends, support informed decision-making, and drive revenue cycle improvements across the organization.

This is a crucial early hire in the buildout of the US Urology Partners revenue cycle team. This role reports directly to the department head, the Senior VP of Revenue Cycle.

Job Description

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Cross-System Data Synthesis: Access, extract, reconcile, and synthesize data across disparate EMR, practice management, billing, and other operational systems to create accurate, comprehensive reporting and support enterprise decision-making.

  • Data Validation and Integrity: Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data used in reporting by identifying discrepancies, validating outputs, and partnering with operational teams to resolve issues and improve data quality.

  • Revenue Cycle Reporting and Analysis: Develop, maintain, and enhance recurring and ad hoc revenue cycle and operational reports that provide visibility into key performance indicators such as charge capture, coding, claims, denials, collections, reimbursement, aging, and cash performance.

  • Operational and Financial Insights: Analyze revenue cycle and operational performance trends, identify root causes of variances, and proactively provide actionable recommendations to improve workflows, reimbursement outcomes, and overall financial performance.

  • Dashboard and Report Development: Build and optimize reporting tools, dashboards, and visualizations for leadership and operational teams using Excel, Power BI, and other reporting platforms to support routine monitoring and strategic initiatives.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with revenue cycle, finance, operations, clinical, and IT teams to define reporting needs, translate business questions into data requirements, and deliver timely, relevant analyses.

  • Continuous Improvement and Operational Impact: Support process improvement efforts by identifying reporting gaps, standardizing metrics, documenting reporting logic, and staying current on revenue cycle best practices, system capabilities, and healthcare industry changes.
