The Manager will develop differentiated strategies for each experience and platform while creating a coherent portfolio approach that enables learning, scale and operational consistency. The Manager will lead the day-to-day social media agency relationship and oversee platform strategy, editorial planning, publishing, social-first content, video, creators and influencers, community management, social listening, measurement and optimization. The ideal candidate combines excellent platforminstincts and editorial judgment with commercial orientation, disciplined execution and the ability to translate audience insight into measurable business outcomes. Translate business objectives, audience insight and approved brand and franchise direction into clear social objectives, audience strategies, content pillars, messaging and calls to action. - Develop distinct social approaches for different experiences and audiences while creating shared standards, playbooks and learning across the portfolio. - Connect social storytelling to commercial priorities, including ticket sales, attendance, product differentiation, premium experiences, retail traffic, new openings and repeat visitation. - Build annual, seasonal and launch-specific social plans that balance long-range planning with the agility to respond to timely cultural moments and fan conversation. - Establish a clear role, target audience, editorial voice, content mix and publishing strategy for Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Threads and other relevant current or emerging platforms. - Own the integrated social editorial calendar and day-to-day publishing rhythm across multiple experiences, balancing evergreen storytelling, campaign moments, launches, events, offers and responsive content. - Develop platform-native approaches rather than repurposing the same assets across channels, with particular emphasis on short-form video, entertainment, utility, conversation and participation. - Build social-search and Pinterest strategies that capture travel planning, local "things to do," fan inspiration and other high-intent discovery behaviors. - Maintain strong channel governance, account access, publishing controls, content archives and escalation processes across the portfolio. - Build a consistent, higher-volume pipeline of compelling social-first content, including short-form video, behind-the-scenes access, humor, interactive formats, user-generated content, current trends that are brand appropriate, and timely franchise or talent opportunities. - Develop strong creative hooks, storytelling formats and calls to action designed to increase reach, watch time, sharing, saves, conversation, consideration and qualified traffic. - Brief and partner with the Creative & Brand Manager, agencies, production partners and internal teams to ensure assets are platform-native, on brand and delivered at the speed and volume social requires. - Develop creator and influencer strategies, including identification, briefing, content coordination, approvals, usage rights, amplification recommendations and performance evaluation. - Identify opportunities to encourage and responsibly use guest and fan content, testimonials and advocacy to build credibility and intent. - On-the-ground support for all social shoots, filming, and events on a regular basis - Seek out opportunities to cross-promote and collaborate across all WBD-wide Partners - Lead active community management that deepens fan relationships, responds appropriately to questions and feedback, and creates a recognizable, engaging presence for each experience. - Establish social listening practices to monitor sentiment, guest experience, cultural and platform trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities or risks. - Create response standards, moderation guidance and escalation protocols in partnership with Publicity, Guest Services, Operations, Legal, Brand and Franchise stakeholders. - Turn recurring questions, comments and audience behavior into actionable recommendations for content, campaigns, offers and the broader guest experience. - Identify real-time opportunities for culturally relevant participation while applying sound judgment around brand safety, franchise sensitivities and reputational risk. - Lead the day-to-day social agency relationship, setting clear briefs, priorities, deliverables, timelines, quality standards, performance expectations and approved budget parameters. - Ensure agency work reflects the distinct objectives and voice of each experience while maintaining consistent operating standards across the portfolio. - Coordinate social execution with Creative, Growth Insights, Publicity, Brand, Franchise, Retail, Operations, Commercial and external operating partners for launches, seasonal campaigns and ongoing programs. - Partner with media owners to translate organic content learning into paid-social creative and amplification recommendations without assuming ownership of the broader paid-media function. - Maintain an efficient approval and publishing workflow that enables speed while respecting WBD Brand, Franchise, Legal, Publicity and talent approval requirements. - Define social objectives and key performance indicators across the funnel, including reach, video views and completion, audience growth, engagement, shares, saves, sentiment, qualified traffic, assisted conversion and directly attributable conversion where measurable. - Partner with Growth Insights and digital channel owners to establish actionable reporting, campaign tagging and appropriate links between social activity and website, ticketing or retail outcomes. - Create a disciplined test-and-learn program across hooks, formats, length, cadence, messages, IP, creators, calls to action and platform features; scale winning approaches and refresh content before fatigue. - Translate performance into clear recommendations for editorial plans, content investment, agency priorities, paid amplification and future campaigns. - Stay ahead of platform changes, emerging formats, social commerce, AI-enabled tools and evolving audience behaviors, recommending responsible opportunities for experimentation. Qualifications & Experience - 5-8 years of solid experience in social media, social content strategy, audience development or integrated consumer marketing, including direct ownership of multi-platform social programs. - Demonstrated success growing reach, engagement and audiences through platform-specific strategies across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Snapchat or comparable channels. - Strong understanding of short-form and long-form social video, creator and influencer programs, community management, social listening, social search, platform trends and content experimentation. - Experience developing social strategies that support the full customer journey from awareness and engagement through consideration, qualified traffic and conversion. - Experience translating brand, franchise and commercial priorities into engaging social storytelling while navigating approvals in a complex organization. - Experience managing social and content agencies, including briefing, workflow, budgets, quality control, performance management and cross-functional approvals. - Strong working knowledge of social analytics, campaign tagging, platform measurement, attribution limitations and test-and-learn methods; ability to connect social metrics to business outcomes. - Excellent editorial judgment and copywriting skills, with the ability to adapt tone and storytelling to different platforms, experiences and fan communities. - Experience collaborating effectively with Creative, Publicity, Brand, Franchise, Legal, Commercial, Retail, Operations and paid-media stakeholders. - Experience in entertainment, travel, attractions, hospitality, retail, ecommerce or other consumer-facing businesses preferred. - Thinks social-first and understands how to earn attention, participation and advocacy rather than simply adapt campaign assets for social channels. - Combines strong editorial and platform intuition with rigorous testing and performance accountability. - Keeps pace with changing social behaviors, creators, fan communities, cultural conversation and emerging platform capabilities. - Prioritizes effectively and drives alignment across multiple brands, launches and stakeholders.
