Manager, Accessible Services: $113,352.00 -$158,640.00 Annually
The purpose of this position is to manage and administer the Accessible Services Program to ensure compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and other applicable federal and state accessibility requirements. This is accomplished by overseeing ADA eligibility and certification, accessibility programs, customer accessibility initiatives, community partnerships, and related service contracts; supervising assigned staff; collaborating with departments across the organization to support accessible transit services, facilities, technology, and customer programs; and ensuring compliance with applicable accessibility laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. Participates in the activities of all functional levels as needed and may perform the duties of subordinates when necessary.
Senior Manager, Accessible Services: $126,876.00 - $177,696.00 Annually
The purpose of this position is to plan, organize, implement, manage and oversee SacRT's Accessible Services Program to ensure compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and other applicable federal and state accessibility requirements. This is accomplished by providing leadership and oversight of ADA eligibility and certification, accessibility programs, customer accessibility initiatives, community partnerships, and related service contracts; collaborating with the departments across the organization to support accessible transit services, facilities, technology, and customer programs; and ensuring compliance with applicable accessibility laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. The incumbent is also responsible for higher level projects that integrate business strategy as well as supervising, developing and evaluating assigned staff.

A combination of education and/or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the position. SacRT reserves the right to determine the equivalences of education and experience.
Manager, Accessible Services:
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Public Administration, Communications, Human Services, Sociology, Physical Therapy Vocational Rehabilitation, Transportation Planning, or a closely related field.
Experience: A minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in access and accessibility programs, ADA compliance, mobility services or a closely related field, including two (2) years of supervisory experience. Experience working with persons with disabilities, public agencies, community organizations, and regulatory compliance is highly desirable.
Senior Manager, Accessible Services:
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Public Administration, Communications, Human Services, Sociology, Physical Therapy Vocational Rehabilitation, Transportation Planning or a closely related field.
Experience: A minimum of six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in access and accessibility programs, ADA compliance, mobility services or a closely related field, including two (2) years of supervisory or management experience. Experience working with persons with disabilities, public agencies, community organizations, and regulatory compliance is highly desirable.
Proof of required education beyond high school, such as college transcripts, diplomas, and/or certificates must be submitted at the time of application, if not substituting experience for the education requirement.
