Full Job Description
The Manager, Sales Education, Content & Readiness leads Sales-specific education, content, communications, coaching resources, and readiness initiatives that prepare Sales teams to execute business priorities effectively. Reporting to the Director of Sales Readiness, this role leads a team responsible for translating Sales strategies, process changes, and go-to-market initiatives into practical learning, tools, and field-ready resources while partnering with Corporate Training & Development where appropriate. Outcomes and Activities: • This position will work from home; occasional planned travel to our Southfield, Michigan office may be required.  However, this position is permitted to work at our Southfield, Michigan office if requested by the team member. Key Responsibilities Sales Education and Readiness • Lead Sales-specific education and readiness programs that support selling skills, product knowledge, role effectiveness, and business initiatives. • Translate business priorities, process changes, and go-to-market initiatives into practical learning and field-ready guidance. • Partner with Sales leaders to identify capability gaps and develop solutions that improve adoption and execution. • Support readiness for launches, sales plays, organizational changes, and other strategic initiatives. • Measure effectiveness and improve programs based on field feedback and business results. Content and Coaching • Oversee development and governance of playbooks, sales guides, talk tracks, job aids, communications, presentations, and coaching resources. • Ensure Sales content is accurate, consistent, accessible, and aligned with business priorities. • Develop reinforcement and coaching resources that support critical selling behaviors and performance expectations. • Use engagement and utilization insights to improve content effectiveness. Team Leadership • Lead, coach, and develop team members responsible for Sales education, content, communications, and readiness. • Establish priorities, performance expectations, quality standards, and operating rhythms. • Manage workload and resources to ensure timely execution of key initiatives. • Foster accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Cross-Functional Partnership • Partner with Sales Leadership, Product, Marketing, GTM Strategy, Analytics, Sales Enablement, and other teams to support field readiness. • Collaborate with Corporate Training & Development on enterprise learning standards, instructional design, learning technologies, and broader development programs. • Ensure Sales-specific programs complement enterprise learning efforts while remaining focused on Sales execution and performance. • Serve as a trusted partner on Sales education, content, communications, coaching, and readiness needs. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Education, Learning & Development, Marketing, Organizational Development, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. • At least five years of experience in Sales Enablement, Sales Education, Sales Training, Learning & Development, Sales Operations, or a related field. • At least two years of experience leading people, programs, or complex cross-functional initiatives. • Experience developing Sales education, enablement content, communications, or readiness programs. • Strong communication, project management, stakeholder partnership, and leadership skills. • Ability to translate complex business priorities into practical, actionable Sales solutions. • Ability to travel up to 25% based on business needs. Preferred Qualifications • Experience supporting a field-based Sales organization. • Experience leading Sales content, communications, coaching, or readiness functions. • Familiarity with instructional design, content governance, learning technologies, CRM platforms, or sales enablement tools. • Experience supporting product launches, organizational change, or go-to-market initiatives.
