Full Job Description

Manager, Revenue Accounting

Intapp's Revenue Accounting team is a core part of the finance organization at a fast-growing public technology company. Reporting to the Senior Director, Revenue Accounting & Transformation, the Revenue Accounting Manager will carry significant visibility with the VP Revenue, Controller, and CFO — and will be expected to lead with both technical depth and operational ownership in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.

This role oversees a broad scope of the revenue close cycle, from deal review and contract analysis under ASC 606 to month-end close, reconciliations, and audit management. You'll build collaborative relationships across Finance, Sales, and Legal, mentor staff accountants, and drive process improvement as the team continues to scale.

What you will do

As a Manager, Revenue Accounting you can expect to:

  • Review and analyze deal review packages and professional services contracts, including revenue allocations and agreement review, to ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606 and company policy

  • Lead month-end close activities — including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis — and review monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages prepared for the VP Revenue, Controller, and CFO

  • Support the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statement disclosures and manage external and internal auditor deliverables across quarterly review and annual audit cycles

  • Maintain and strengthen internal controls in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley, develop and update SOX documentation, and actively drive process improvement initiatives across the revenue accounting function

  • Train and mentor staff accountants, build strong cross-functional relationships with Finance, Sales, and Legal, and research and communicate relevant updates on new accounting standards

What you will need

Intapp is looking for intellectually curious, self-motivated professionals who like to get hands-on to contribute to the overall success of the business and their team. To apply for this Revenue Accounting Manager role, you will ideally have:

  • 6+ years of progressive accounting experience at a Big 4 firm or a combination of Big 4 and industry, preferably including exposure to a high-growth SaaS company

  • Strong working knowledge of GAAP, ASC 606 revenue recognition, and SOX internal controls

  • CPA license or active candidacy; BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or Business (or equivalent practical experience)

  • Proficiency in NetSuite, BlackLine, and advanced Excel; familiarity with Salesforce is a plus

  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with close attention to detail, and the ability to independently manage competing priorities against strict deadlines

  • Clear, effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with Finance, Operations, and business stakeholders
