Full Job Description
Accountabilities and Key Functions

Key functions include:

  • Lead all aspects of project financings from initial structuring through to post-closing activities for one or more ongoing project financings, including construction loans, tax equity bridge loans, back leverage/term loans, and hybrid/holdco financings (includes financings in both Canada and the USA).
  • Management of project financings in the existing operating portfolio (refinancings, amendments, and other related deliverables).
  • Assist with structuring financings for the development asset portfolio
  • Conduct corporate financial modelling to support company valuation workstreams
  • Potential to support corporate development and commercial initiatives for the operating and development portfolio (including economic analysis, RFP responses, offtake agreement structuring, managing partnerships and pricing, etc.)
  • Build and maintain relationships with a number of key third parties, including lenders, lawyers, independent engineers, and advisors
  • Upholds all aspects of BluEarth's Environmental, Health, & Safety policies, practices, and programs; and
  • Uphold the company's core values.


Education

  • University degree, preferably in Management, Business, Finance, or Engineering but consideration will be given to those that possess tangible and proven experience and skills; and
  • Credentials such as CA, CPA, CFA, or MBA are required.


Experience

  • Minimum 7 years' experience in finance, corporate development, banking, or relevant field.
