Purpose of PositionAssist Director and Program Management to obtain optimum efficiency of Projects and Programs. Identifies areas of improvement, creates projects, works on projects, manages and tracks the progress of programs and projects to support company's short and long-range goals and objective focusing on process improvement objectives.
Tasks and Responsibilities- Directly supervises employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Assists in the creation of performance metrics, reporting and improvement targets.
- Creates, reviews budgets, bids, proposals and schedules.
- Participate as required in the creation of project schedules.
- Coordinate with Program Manager in developing and maintaining a cost control, tracking and reporting system consistent with the customer's reporting requirements.
- Interact with customers to identify opportunities to improve quality and processes to meet timely deliveries and quality service.
- Hire, train, develop, and evaluate staff. Take corrective actions as necessary on a timely basis and in accordance with company policy. Ensure compliance with current federal state and local regulations. Consult with Human Resources Department as appropriate.
- Ensure compliance with Company standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, OSHA, safety and complete and on time delivery at the lowest possible cost.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations and company standards.
Minimum Education- BS/BA Business or Engineering or related.
Minimum Experience- 10 plus years of experience in Program Management.
