Job Description:

Position Summary

The Manager, Professional Education & KOL Engagement develops and executes professional education, KOL, and customer engagement strategies that drive portfolio growth, product adoption, customer loyalty, and commercial success across Kerr's global businesses.

This role connects customers, clinical experts, Product Management, Clinical Affairs, Marketing, Sales, and R&D to ensure customer insights and engagement initiatives translate into measurable business outcomes. Key responsibilities include leading professional education programs, LMS strategy, speaker programs, advisory boards, congress activities, and Kerr Clinical Roundtables, while supporting portfolio strategy and commercialization efforts in partnership with Clinical Affairs.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute global professional education, KOL engagement, and customer education strategies aligned with portfolio, commercial, and go-to-market objectives.
  • Lead live, digital, and hybrid education programs, including LMS strategy and administration, to enhance customer engagement, product adoption, and learning effectiveness.
  • Build and manage relationships with KOLs, speakers, educators, and clinical experts; oversee speaker programs, advisory boards, roundtables, congress activities, and other engagement initiatives.
  • Partner with Clinical Affairs to translate clinical evidence into impactful educational content, scientific engagement activities, and customer-facing programs.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Marketing, Sales, and R&D to provide customer and KOL insights that support innovation, portfolio strategy, product development, commercialization, and launch readiness.
  • Lead education and KOL engagement activities within the New Product Introduction process, including launch education plans, speaker activation, and early adopter programs.
  • Manage KOL contracting, documentation, and engagement processes in partnership with Legal, Compliance, Finance, and Procurement, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive educational strategy and execution for congresses, trade shows, professional associations, and customer events to maximize business impact and return on investment.
  • Define and monitor KPIs, budgets, participation metrics, adoption measures, and program effectiveness to support continuous improvement and business performance.
  • Capture and communicate market, customer, and clinical insights to inform business decisions, evidence generation, and future growth opportunities.
  • Support Envista Business System (EBS) initiatives through KPI management, operational excellence, process standardization, and continuous improvement activities.

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, life sciences, healthcare, education, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 to 6 years of progressive experience in Professional Education, Clinical Education, KOL Engagement, Product Marketing, Professional Affairs, Commercial Marketing, or a related function.
  • Experience within the medical device, dental, healthcare, or other highly regulated industries required.

Skills & Abilities

  • Demonstrated experience supporting product launches, commercialization initiatives, and customer adoption strategies preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage and engage external experts, key opinion leaders, speaker programs, and advisory boards.
  • Experience collaborating across global and cross-functional organizations, including multiple regions and stakeholder groups.
  • Analytical and data-driven approach to decision-making, with sound financial and budget management capabilities.
  • Strong project management, and influencing skills, with the ability to drive alignment across diverse functions and organizational levels within a matrixed environment.
  • Ability to translate customer and clinical insights into actionable business strategies.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and execution-focused, with demonstrated adaptability and agility.
  • Ability to travel including evenings, weekends, and overnight stays up to 30%
