Atlantic Health System is seeking full time Manager, Practice Operations for busy Pediatric office. Would be

Managing the following areas:
  • AMG Pediatrics - Morristown and Florham Park
  • Adolescent Medicine
  • 7 Clinicians, staff of 12


Under the direction of the Senior Manager, the Manager, Practice Operations will be responsible for the operational management of physician practices to enhance our ability to deliver high quality, safe, affordable patient care within a healing culture to improve the health status of the communities we serve based on PRIDE (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity and Excellence). The Manager, Practice Operations will assume responsibility for ensuring the cost-effective delivery of quality patient care while striving for continued improvement in operating and financial performance and remain abreast of financial and operational growth goals for the department/practice and strategize for continued improvement in operating and financial performance. In conjunction with AMG leadership, the Manager, Practice Operations plays a key role in the implementation and enforcement of the practice's strategic plan(s).

Accountabilities:
  • Ensure compliance with all appropriate regulatory agencies, corporate compliance, system protocols and office procedures and communicating policy changes to appropriate staff.
  • Manage the staff to ensure adherence to established policies and procedures and standardize a continuous process improvement.
  • Provide input for the development of budget and financial goals. Gather data and write justifications for personnel, capital expenditures for equipment and supplies.
  • Creates action plans to ensure budget variances are appropriately identified and corrected.
  • Mediate or assist in the mediation of conflicts, differences and misunderstandings between and amongst patients, staff and physicians.
  • Identify and address performance and behavioral problems of staff; counsel and discipline according to policy.
  • Ensure patient, staff and physician satisfaction for all assigned sites to the highest level of excellence.
  • Work closely with physicians to enhance practice operations, maximize reimbursement, collections and contain costs.
  • Assist in the preparation, review and monitoring of annual budgets.
  • Assist in monitoring physician productivity for incentive compensation.
  • Monitor progress toward achievement of yearly operational and financial goals.
  • Plan for changes in resource requirements including staff, technology and space.
  • Work with all internal credentialing departments for smooth and accurate record keeping of all required documents and contractual relationships.
  • Facilitate communication among physicians, staff and administration establishing a climate that encourages teamwork and promotes collegial collaboration among all team members including regular staff meetings/physician meetings with Practice Administrator to discuss operational, financial and strategic initiatives.


Qualifications

Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum five years physician practice management experience in large specialty physician office setting
  • 5+ years' experience in Management Healthcare Pediatrics Setting
