Position Overview
The Manager of Physician Practice Patient Access, Digital Engagement & Front-End Collections provides strategic and operational leadership for patient access services, centralized call center operations, digital patient engagement technologies, and front-end revenue cycle functions across UHS Physician Practice Operations.

This position is responsible for driving system-wide standardization, optimization, and performance improvement initiatives that enhance patient access, improve patient experience, increase digital adoption, strengthen point-of-service financial performance, and support organizational growth objectives. The Manager serves as a key liaison among Physician Practice Operations, Revenue Cycle, Information Technology, Epic analysts, Marketing and Communications, and physician practice leadership to ensure consistent execution of patient access, digital engagement, and revenue cycle strategies.

Compensation Range:
$37.00 - $55.50 per hour, depending on experience

Education & Experience

Minimum Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressive healthcare operational leadership experience; experience in physician practice operations, patient access, call center management, digital health operations, or revenue cycle processes; experience with performance improvement and staff leadership.

Preferred:
  • Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, Nursing, or related discipline.
  • Experience supporting physician practice operations, centralized contact centers, Epic MyChart/Cadence/Online Scheduling applications, and front-end revenue cycle initiatives.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Comprehensive knowledge of physician practice operations and patient access management.
  • Knowledge of centralized call center operations and performance metrics.
  • Strong understanding of Epic applications and patient engagement technologies.
  • Knowledge of scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and revenue cycle operations.
  • Understanding of patient financial policies and collection practices.
  • Ability to analyze operational and financial data and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change and process improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent problem-solving, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, patient privacy, and healthcare compliance requirements.
  • Ability to build collaborative partnerships across operational, clinical, technical, and financial departments.
