SUMMARYProvide HR partnership to assigned groups leaders, developing, and executing HR strategy in support of business objectives. Additionally, as the Sr. Manager, People & Culture Business Partner, you will serve as the first point of contact for people leaders and employees in assigned groups to provide counsel, coaching and support on HR fundamentals and employee-related questions. You will execute our key HR initiatives, provide available and responsive internal employee support and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement while championing key initiatives such as change management, organizational development, culture, employee wellness, etc.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned.)
- Partner with client leaders and their staff to provide strategic HR partnership to develop and execute both long-term and short-term HR strategies that directly support and enable Watkins Wellness objectives. Provide strategic coaching to key talent in client group as it pertains to succession planning, career path development, and performance management.
- Implement the most effective organizational structures to drive The Watkins Way Values and culture to support business growth, simplification, and maximized team performance. Embrace and actively engage the Masco Operating System, looking for more efficient ways to operate.
- Lead and coach leadership on HR processes including employee advocacy/engagement, Employee relations management, Performance management, Career development, Talent assessment, acquisition, and retention. Drive People Leader excellence through training, intentional development planning, seeking and providing feedback and coaching to leaders, roundtables, and new leader assimilations, as needed.
- Partner with HR Business Partners and HR Solutions teams (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, etc.) professionals to execute HR strategies.
- Conduct workplace investigations as appropriate and ensure that all employee relations issues are properly identified, reported, investigated, and resolved in a timely manner to include gathering, preserving, documenting, and analyzing all available information and evidence, make recommendations to the business on disciplinary action.
- Provide advice and counsel to managers and employees to ensure consistent application and integration of policies, procedures, and practices at 100% compliance to promote an ethical and compliant work environment.
- Works with Employee Wellness on leave of absence strategies and solutions ensuring compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws.
- Lead key HR processes including benefits (and open enrollment), compensation planning and compliance and conduct HR training and support for functional processes like Performance Development, Talent Review, Salary Planning, etc.
- Coordinate and act as a Liaison with Masco Service Center or any other technical/support vehicle; provide assistance with services and programs provided by the company; provide direction and solutions.
- Directs the record keeping function of employee record keeping including, personnel transactions such as new hires, promotions, job changes, transfers, performance reviews, terminations, and other.
- Manages legal requirements related to Visas and other related documents to ensure compliance.
- Lead other HR projects as necessary, working across multiple client groups.
