Job Summary
Responsible for executing the business plan of Orthopedic Services. Establishes and manages the day-to-day processes and procedures for operating the business systems necessary to effectively carry out the business activities related to the Orthopedic Services. Responsible for managing additional projects and operational activities within Orthopedic Services. Responsible for providing limited support to the finance department and other departments.
Essential Functions

- Works with orthopedic leadership and other departments of PH to develop business plans and pro formas for cost-savings and revenue generating projects.
- Works collaboratively with PH Finance to aid with data needed for the preparation of monthly and quarterly bonus calculations.
- Manage the Patient Reported Outcomes Measurement Information System (PROMIS) by supporting end users, troubleshooting issues, work with ITS to improve prepare monthly reports.
- Prepare financial and operational reports for service line leadership.
- Manage fax department.
- Performs other duties as required.
Supervisory/Management Responsibilities
- Job has direct and/or indirect supervision of team members that may include final budget authority, hire/termination authority, performance appraisal responsibility and disciplinary authority. Job will be considered a member of management staff at Prisma Health or affiliate and will have direct reports.
Minimum Requirements
- Education - Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or related field of study.
- Experience - Five (5) years directly related work experience. Experience in data analysis and visualization methods. Leadership/management experience in healthcare delivery or management of the business operations of a healthcare organization preferred.
In Lieu Of
- In lieu of education and experience noted above, a high school diploma/equivalent and ten (10) years of experience in physician practice management, personnel mgt, finance or operations including three (3) years healthcare management experience may be considered.
