SummaryThe Warehouse Operation Manager owns the Warehouse and Automated Vertique management process. Manages and develops Warehouse Supervisors, Automation, Inventory Control, and Shipping & Receiving personnel. The Manager will ensure the efficient and accurate loading of trucks and the overall warehouse automation operations while providing guidance and oversight for all warehouse associates.
Responsibilities- Staff, train, evaluate and develop team members.
- Supervise warehouse and the daily activities of the warehouse.
- Schedule warehouse team members to meet the demands of the facility.
- Allocate necessary space for stock rotation.
- Assist and maintain appropriate inventory levels and product loss control.
- Oversee shipping and receiving functions as applicable.
- Secure company assets.
- Manage and model the safety culture and strive for 100% compliance concerning safety policies and procedures
- Accountable for internal audit, safety and quality assurance standards and eternal regulatory requirements.
- Manage within labor and OPEX budget.
Qualifications- High school diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- 3+ years' warehouse/inventory experience required.
- Requires experience managing supervisory level employees.
- 3+ years managing warehouse / inventory environment preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills that may include public speaking and presentations.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional leadership skills to effectively lead supervisors.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills to facilitate goal setting.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Intermediate PC and database skills.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems.
- Forklift certification a plus.
