Your New Role...

The Manager, Operations is a critical leadership role within Post Production Services - WB Sound NY, responsible for overseeing the daily operational, financial, and logistical functions of the facility. This role supports the continued expansion of WB Sound NY, including the management and launch of a second PPCS facility, while ensuring exceptional service delivery to internal creative teams and external clients. Working closely with the Executive Director, this role serves as the operational bridge between creative, technical, facilities, finance, and external partners. The ideal candidate combines strong organizational and financial acumen with a client-focused mindset and a deep understanding of post production workflows for television and feature film.

Your Role Accountabilities...

Studio & Facility Operations
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the WB Sound NY facility, ensuring seamless editorial, ADR, Foley, and mixing workflows.
  • Support the operational planning, setup, and ongoing management of WB Sound NY's second PPPCS facility.
  • Act as the primary operational liaison between WB Sound NY and Warner Bros. Discovery Facility Management to ensure proper maintenance, safety compliance, and infrastructure readiness.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and implement process improvements to support increased volume, scalability, and service excellence.


Financial & Budget Management
  • Manage and monitor TV and feature production budgets across editorial, ADR, Foley, and mixing departments.
  • Oversee project scheduling and cost tracking to ensure financial targets and delivery milestones are met.
  • Manage vendor relationships, service agreements, and negotiated rates to optimize cost efficiency while maintaining quality standards.
  • Oversee billing, invoicing, and financial reconciliation for television and feature projects, working closely with Finance and departmental leadership.


Scheduling, Workflow & Project Oversight
  • Coordinate project schedules across multiple departments, balancing creative needs, facility availability, and delivery deadlines.
  • Provide ongoing status updates to internal teams and clients regarding project progress, capacity, and scheduling adjustments.
  • Anticipate workflow bottlenecks and proactively coordinate solutions with department heads and creative teams.


Client Relations & Communication
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring a high level of service, responsiveness, and professionalism.
  • Facilitate clear, consistent communication between clients and creative staff regarding schedules, deliverables, and expectations.
  • Uphold confidentiality and discretion when working with high-profile projects, talent, and stakeholders.


Leadership & Collaboration
  • Partner closely with the Executive Director on operational planning, growth initiatives, and long-term strategy.
  • Collaborate with creative leadership, technical teams, Facilities, Finance, and P&C to support staffing, resource planning, and operational alignment.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff as needed, reinforcing a collaborative and solutions-oriented culture.


Qualifications & Experiences...
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 10+ years of administrative, operations, or production management experience in a client-facing environment required.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and standard business applications.


Not Required but preferred experience:
  • Prior experience in post production sound & picture for film & television.
  • Experience managing budgets, schedules, and vendor relationships.
  • Familiarity with editorial, ADR, Foley, and re-recording mix workflows.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems creatively within established operational frameworks.

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $89,600.00 - $166,400.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
