Responsibilities

I. JOB SUMMARY:
• Responsible for leading and providing project management for quality and performance improvement initiatives that impact overall operations in the Ambulatory setting.
• Collaborates with senior leadership, departments and staff to ensure successful implementation of priority initiatives supporting the goals of the organization to include identifying, developing, and implementing operational business plans and monitoring key metrics.
• Collaborates with the clinical leadership team to develop innovative programs that support and advance clinical practice, education, and research.
• Develops and implements ambulatory clinical competencies in collaboration with clinical education and other relevant departments.
• Facilitates initiatives that strengthen clinical practice and promote high-quality patient care across clinical teams.
• Evaluates results achieved with respect to goals and objectives for assigned area(s) and ensures effective utilization of human and material resources.

IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A. EDUCATION:

B. CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:
• Current Hawaii State License as a Registered Nurse.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certificate preferred.
• Current certification as a Professional in Healthcare Quality Program (CPHQ) preferred.

C. EXPERIENCE:
• Five (5) years experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care facility and/or ambulatory or outpatient setting.
• Two (2) years supervisory/leadership experience.
• Experience to demonstrate:
o Ability to lead and manage project teams.
o Ability to communicate clearly and effectively at all organizational levels, both verbally and in writing.
o Ability to create technical reports and impactful presentations.
o Mastery of Microsoft Office applications.
o Proven track record in project management to organize, prioritize and analyze multiple projects with strong communications, conceptual design, and computer skills.
