What You'll Do at Pega:- You lead large F500 financial services relationships and the consulting-sales motion within Pega's FSI business unit. The role demands business acumen, commercial fluency, FSI domain credibility, and the leadership to build a team that operates at that level. Your priorities:
- Own a large FSI services target and the forecast behind it - with weighted qualification, early slippage calls, and clarity when pursuits get ambiguous.
- Build, develop, and uplevel a team of CSEs - hiring for end-to-end engagement ownership, coaching scoping and pricing judgment, and getting the most from each seller rather than managing to activity metrics.
- Lead left-to-right, from sell to delivery - hold the team accountable from problem framing through go-live and into production, so what we sell and what we deliver stay aligned.
- Set the standard for executive credibility - be the advisor MDs and C-suite call before a strategic decision, and develop your team to hold those rooms solo.
- Orchestrate partner-led delivery - position consulting as the accelerant alongside SIs (Accenture, Deloitte, Cognizant, TCS and peers), knowing when to lean in and when to protect scope, earning partner trust on contested accounts rather than competing for it.
- Champion agentic transformation in regulated environments - shape how the team prices and delivers when automated/agentic delivery compresses the lifecycle, and what that means for observability, governance, and audit posture in FSI.
- Drive commercial construction - coach the team to scope engagements, defend pricing, and protect margin through scope change, not hand the commercial shape to others.
Who You Are:- A leader who has carried a services number and built the team that carries it. You think in terms of client outcomes and deal construction, not relationship-building alone. Specifically, you:
- Have owned engagement shape across pre-sales and delivery on platform-led programs - and can describe the trade-offs between sales-stage promises and delivery reality.
- Bring real FSI depth - you know the buyer's agenda (regulatory pressure, cost-to-transform, core modernization, risk and fraud) and engage as a credible peer, not a vendor.
- Stand behind the run - your engagement story doesn't end at go-live; you speak fluently about observability, governance, and how programs evolve once live.
- Develop people - you uplevel and upskill sellers, build high-performing teams, and create the conditions for others to do their best work.
- Maintain compliance and ethical rigor - across financial regulations, procurement policy, and contractual risk in everything the team commits to.
- Operate through change - you adapt when the delivery model shifts (for us, Blueprint-led and increasingly agentic) and keep the team effective through it.
- Are a thought leader in banking and financial services - visible through writing, speaking, and panels, and you build that visibility in your team.
What You've Accomplished:- A proven track record selling and leading consulting-services sales in banking and financial services - ideally software-led services or IT consulting, not generic strategy consulting.
- Led consulting-sales teams to bookings and revenue targets, with direct involvement in shaping and closing complex deals.
- Personally owned and attained a substantial services quota (multi-year attainment, with the receipts), before or while leading a team.
- Built and defended complex software-consulting proposals - including commercial models (T&M, fixed, cost-cap) and how to hold margin through scope change.
- Deep, current relationships at director-to-MD level inside top-tier US banks and/or insurance carriers.
- Experience in partner-involved delivery and competitive-collaborative SI dynamics in FSI.
- Strong understanding of FSI procurement processes, policies, and regulation.
- Contributed to annual budgets and financial plans for a consulting practice or division.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the credibility to influence decision-makers and inspire a team. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.
