Full Job Description
Your Impact

The primary purpose of this role is to coordinate between field and SSC personnel to assist in follow-up on incidents, design and implement programs supporting strategic initiatives and run business activities. This position will serve as the first point of contact on emergency response items, facilitating intelligence gathering and summarization for the Sr. Director of Asset Protection Operations. The principal purpose of this position is to establish and maintain the physical security & safety of stores through analytics, intelligence, and technology. This position will facilitate the information cascade of programs and events from SSC and field personnel and communicate updates to the Sr. Director of Asset Protection Operations for direction and critical decisions. This individual will assist with holding business partners and vendors accountable to their support/contractual obligations through daily and weekly interactions, as well as quarterly business reviews. This role works closely with Regional Asset Protection and Safety Directors / District Asset Protection Managers as well as SSC based support functions to identify and proactively address needs, opportunities and provide immediate support in response to incidents in the field.

What You Will Do
  • Maintains ongoing improvement initiatives of store physical security programs
  • Manages and oversees any internal monitoring operations/teams
  • Performs monitoring allocations in all temporary, permanent, natural disaster and civil unrest situations
  • Reviews & build standard operating procedures for Remote Monitoring Team
  • Works with finance on all forecasting efforts around physical security
  • Capital solicitations on business group efforts
  • Actively collaborates with the field & IT on all physical security needs & technology
  • Oversee in depth review of all after hour break-ins to Lowe's store for process review/correction
  • Performs detailed reviews of physical confrontations in stores & works on implementing technology to find/reduce these incidents
  • Actively seek alignment and integration around corporate initiatives to assess impact to store operations and ensure AP organization is educated and prepared for efforts as they deploy. Partner with corresponding AP director to identify and mitigate risk exposure with new / future initiatives
  • Design and implement programs that support running the business activities and adoption / realization of departmental strategy
  • Lead Remote Monitoring Team during all major incidents (civil unrest, burglaries, active shooters etc.)
  • Analyze data and identifying trends to partner with the SSC / field subject matter experts to take appropriate actions in facilitating training and change management to address key behavioral shifts to accomplish desired outcomes
  • Manages & implements solutions on store issues surrounding vagrancy
  • Lead efforts to improve data collection around physical security & safety of stores. Maintain decision rights for any changes being recommended by business partners to this platform. Develop and cascade necessary training to field and store teams on any major enhancements and changes
  • Complete store visits throughout the fiscal year to identify opportunities related to Asset Protection & Safety departmental processes, programs, and technology requirements
  • Coordinate field efforts around running the business activities and updates being developed and delivered
  • Facilitate town hall discussions to drive future field and store facing initiatives
  • Coordinate with Learning & Development / Leadership to deliver training programs for Asset Protection and
  • Safety as related to Asset Protection and Safety programs, processes, and initiatives
  • Participate in training sessions for AP and Store personnel related to Asset Protection programs and processes to identify gaps and partner with the subject matter experts at the SSC to provide solutions
  • Assisting with Annual Forecasting (Capital & Expense)
  • Assists in Managing Expense Lines
  • Assisting with all aspects of Project Management, including NDA's, proof of concept, proof of value, training, deployment, and follow-up
  • Assist with Vendor Contract and SOW development for AP technologies and processes
  • Supervising on/off-site vendor liaisons to ensure site locations are receiving the best possible service
  • Collaborates with key stakeholders in the corporate office and cross-functional teams throughout the organization to ensure alignment of programs and processes
  • Recognize trends in programs to see the opportunities and understand what is working well and not working well in order to take appropriate action to drive performance in an omni-channel environment
  • Analyzes data to identify issues, root causes
  • Recognizes enterprise and industry wide trends and work collaboratively with cross functional groups to develop and implement solutions across entire organization
  • Assists with developing and presenting communications, frequently to Senior leadership, communicating the desired message, at the appropriate, for the right recipient
  • Collaborates with Facilities Management to coordinate onsite vendor meets as needed
  • Review Opening/Closing procedures for safety/security opportunities and notify respective teams as necessary
  • Oversee maintenance of Vendor Contact List and non-emergency contact numbers for all Live View locations


Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable
  • 5 years of People Leadership
  • 5 years supporting operational initiatives
  • 5 years of experience in retail, security, operations or military (or related field)
  • 5 years of experience with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Teams, etc.)


Preferred Skills/Education
  • Bachelor's degree Criminal Justice, Security Management, Facilities, Business Continuity, or related field
  • 2 years of experience reviewing contracts and invoices
  • 5 years of experience in using physical security systems (CCTV, EAS, etc.)
  • LPC/LPQ, CFI, or related
  • Security Certification: ASIS PSP/CPP, SMP
