THE ROLEThe
Manager, Nutrition & Scientific Education plays a critical role in shaping and communicating the company's scientific voice across internal teams, consumers, and global audiences. This role leads the development and execution of product and scientific education initiatives, empowering cross-functional stakeholders-Marketing and Communications to Retail and Customer Happiness-with accurate, compelling, and scalable scientific educational resources. With a deep foundation in nutrition science and a passion for impactful storytelling, this position bridges research with application, enabling internal teams and partners to confidently advocate for AG1 products. This role also supports international launches, retail excellence, and internal education platforms.
WHAT YOU'LL DO- Create, build, and curate nutrition-focused educational programs in our AG1 training platform that will support our teams in marketing and selling our product
- Manage the entirety of the AG1 educational portfolio to both internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited to product training, educational programs, e-courses, consumer webinars, educational literature, and some marketing collateral to support product launches
- Conduct basic scientific research to be able to provide thoughtful answers to dietary supplement and nutrition-related questions received by global Customer Happiness members
- Create and conduct training for new products or scientific understanding for internal and external audiences
- Monitor industry activity to identify the clinical and educational needs of our customers
- Assist Marketing and Communications in creating the monthly content calendar, including briefings on health, nutrition, and lifestyle direction
- Support the internal communication team by writing thought-provoking nutrition content for employee-facing material, such as the company-wide newsletter and intranet
- Create and deliver compelling and visually appealing presentations and reports, including designing and hosting consumer-facing educational webinars
- Lead the development and execution of retailer education to support business growth through tailored training, tools, and messaging that drive product knowledge and in-store excellence per chain and per product
- Liaise and support international market expansion by partnering with regional teams to deliver scientific education and messaging aligned with local regulatory frameworks and consumer needs
- Collaborate to equip the Customer Happiness team with clear, accurate, and timely resources (i.e. CH Briefs, Ingredient Disclosures, and FAQs) for new product launches, innovations, and formula updates, ensuring consistent and confident customer support
- Maintain a level of clear, constant, and effective communication across the organization with project teams, internal and external stakeholders, and executive management
- Facilitate productive cross-functional collaboration across the Marketing, Operations, and Marketing departments
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR- 6+ years of experience creating health and life science-related material to support company-wide marketing and educational initiatives
- A Bachelors in sciences, including nutrition, functional medicine, naturopathic medicine, biology, biochemistry or any of the related fields. Registered dietitian credentialed preferred, Master's degree preferred.
- Ability to create and present complex information in the form of figures, images, and graphs to convey messaging and storytelling around our products
- Impeccable communication skills, both written and verbal
- Supports and leads a continuous improvement environment
- Intellectually curious and motivated to learn more about the Nutrition, Research, and Innovation strategies for new AG1 products
- Solution-oriented and comfortable working with ambiguity
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of outcomes while prioritizing and juggling multiple projects
- Strong adaptability, flexibility, and resourcefulness
- Demonstrated experience and ability in forming relationships with and working with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external, in a remote environment

AG1 is dedicated to providing equitable and competitive compensation & benefits packages. For this particular role, the base salary range is $91,000.00 - $116,000.00 and will ultimately be decided at the offer stage, based on an individual candidate's level of skills and experience aligned with the needs of this role. Base salary is one component of total compensation for this position. We provide a competitive mix of base salary, performance bonus, and stock option allocation for eligible roles.
