Position Details

  • Location: Wesley Chapel Hospital, Wesley Chapel, FL
  • Department: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
  • Status: Full Time, Exempt
  • Shift Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Weekend Work: Occasional
  • On Call: Yes

The Manager Nursing Quality and Clinical Excellence:

  • Demonstrates proficiency in all Quality leadership competencies and serves as a leader in promoting clinical excellence.
  • Manages the care delivery of a designated patient population while utilizing advanced clinical judgment and expert critical thinking skills.
  • Assumes 24-hour accountability for a patient care unit, ensuring safe, effective, and patient-centered care.
  • Serves as a liaison between patients, families, physicians, team members, administration, and other key stakeholders.
  • Promotes and supports evidence-based practice initiatives that improve quality outcomes and patient experiences.
  • Leads efforts to drive quality improvement, patient safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.
  • Coaches, mentors, and develops team members to achieve organizational and departmental goals.
  • Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to enhance care delivery and advance strategic initiatives.
  • Fosters a culture of accountability, engagement, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or a bachelor's degree in a health-related field.

Experience

  • One of the following experience combinations is required:
    • 3 years of RN experience and 2 years of healthcare leadership experience; or
    • 1 year of nursing leadership experience with an MSN and RN Certification; or
    • 2 years of Nursing Professional Development Practitioner or Clinical Educator experience and 6 months of Assistant Nurse Manager experience.

Preferred Credentials

BayCare Ballpark is a baseball stadium located in Clearwater, Florida, in the United States. The stadium was built in 2004 and has a maximum seating capacity of 8,500 people. The ballpark is the spring training home of the Philadelphia Phillies, and also the home of their Class A affiliate, the Clearwater Threshers of the Florida State League.
