  • Lead the end-to-end pursuit process for Management Services opportunities, including RFPs, RFQs, proposals, qualifications packages, client presentations, interviews, and other pursuit-related deliverables.

  • Partner with Management Services leaders, market teams, and business development professionals to assess client priorities, competitive positioning, opportunity requirements, and pursuit-specific win strategies.

  • Develop and manage pursuit plans, schedules, deliverables, review cycles, and submission timelines to help ensure materials are compliant, accurate, professionally presented, and delivered on schedule.

  • Facilitate pursuit kickoff meetings, strategy sessions, review meetings, interview preparation, and submission readiness reviews to drive alignment and accountability throughout the pursuit lifecycle.

  • Support pitch materials, presentation decks, client presentations, and interview logistics in partnership with stakeholders and MarComm.

Stakeholder & Marketing Coordination:

  • Serve as a primary liaison between Management Services leadership, market teams, pursuit stakeholders, subject matter experts, and MarComm throughout the pursuit lifecycle.
  • Coordinate content requests, stakeholder input, creative support, production resources, and presentation preparation activities, including speaker coaching, rehearsals, and presentation logistics.
  • Ensure client-facing materials support pursuit objectives, align with established win strategies, and maintain consistency with Hines brand standards.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance, to maintain momentum and support seamless pursuit execution.

Business Development Operations & Reporting:

  • Maintain and administer Management Services pursuit tracking, pipeline management, and reporting tools.
  • Coordinate the collection, organization, and distribution of pipeline, pursuit, and business development activity reporting.
  • Monitor opportunity status, support opportunity intake and prioritization, and provide reporting and insights that support leadership decision-making and business development planning.
  • Track solution development activities, stakeholder feedback, decision points, risks, and open issues throughout the pursuit lifecycle.

Process Improvement & Operations Excellence:

  • Establish and maintain best practices, workflows, quality assurance standards, and operating procedures for Management Services pursuits.

  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve pursuit efficiency, collaboration, reporting, resource utilization, and overall business development effectiveness.

  • Capture lessons learned and support the ongoing optimization of pursuit management systems, reporting tools, sales playbooks, templates, and business development processes.

  • Maintain centralized records, documentation, and knowledge-management resources that support repeatable, high-quality pursuit execution.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Real Estate, Business Administration, Management, or a related field required.
  • MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, pursuit management, proposal management, project management, sales operations, or related disciplines.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex pursuits, proposals, or cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
  • Strong project management, organizational, stakeholder-management, and follow-through skills.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining accuracy, quality, and accountability.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation-coordination abilities.
  • Experience in commercial real estate, property management, facilities management, workplace services, professional services, or management services.
  • Experience supporting enterprise accounts, outsourcing, facilities, engineering, or operational services pursuits.
  • Familiarity with CRM, pursuit management, reporting, pipeline tracking, sales-playbook, or content-library tools.
  • Experience supporting executive-level business development, client engagement, or presentation activities.
  • Strong financial and analytical acumen, including the ability to interpret market data, opportunity information, and business-development trends.
  • Ability to inspire others to achieve a standard of excellence in work processes and outcomes while honoring Hines' Standards, client policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

About Hines

The Birmingham Small Arms Company Limited was a major British industrial combine, a group of businesses manufacturing military and sporting firearms; bicycles; motorcycles; cars; buses and bodies; steel; iron castings; hand, power, and machine tools; coal cleaning and handling plants; sintered metals; and hard chrome process. After the Second World War, BSA did not manage its business well, and a government-organised rescue operation in 1973 led to a takeover of such operations as it still owned. Those few that survived this process disappeared into the ownership of other businesses. BSA began in June 1861 in the Gun Quarter, Birmingham, England. It was formed by a group of fourteen gunsmith members of the Birmingham Small Arms Trade Association specifically to manufacture guns by machinery. They were encouraged to do this by the War Office which gave the BSA gunsmiths free access to technical drawings and to the War Office's Board of Ordnance's Royal Small Arms Factory factory at Enfield. New machinery developed in the USA installed at Enfield had greatly increased its output without needing more skilled craftsmen. This new machinery brought to Birmingham the principle of the interchangeability of parts.
