RELOCATION ASSISTANCE: Relocation assistance may be available CLEARANCE REQUIRED FOR START: No CLEARANCE TYPE: Secret TRAVEL: Yes, 10% of the Time Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for you to join our team as a Launcher Manufacturing Supervisor 2, based in Sunnyvale, CA. Equipment you produce will keep Sailors safe in places no human is meant to survive and will play a major role in our Nation’s military superiority and Global Security. Northrop Grumman Marine Systems specializes in the development, manufacture, assembly, and testing of propulsion and power generation systems, and missile launching systems for naval surface ships and submarines. What you’ll get to do: As a People Leader, you’ll support your employees by ensuring: - Lead a team directly responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and testing  of Launcher Products. - You will supervise a team of 10-18 welders, painters, and assembler-testers in their day-to-day work. - You will be charged with taking care of your team, your product, and ensuring all work is performed to Northrop Grumman’s high standards of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Engagement. - You will ensure your team’s Time and Pay are accurate. - Ensure your team has a safe environment, and their concerns are addressed. - Ensure the collective bargaining agreement is adhered to. - Ensure your team is assigned appropriate training and certifications are maintained in a timely manner. - Ensure obstacles to performing work efficiently are addressed. - Ensure Interpersonal issues are addressed quickly and at the lowest level. Must be flexible to work weekends to support operations as needed. Basic Qualifications Manager General Manufacturing 2: - Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience; Master's with a minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience; PhD with a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience (4 additional years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree). - A minimum of 3 years of Supervisory or team lead experience in an operations environment. - Experience with Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques. - The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret clearance is required - U.S. citizenship is required. SNYVLCA MANUMS #NGFeaturedJobs #LI - AH1 #MPR Primary Level Salary Range: $121,100.00 - $181,700.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
