Role summary: The Manager, Learning and Development leads the design, implementation, and evaluation of comprehensive training programs that align with business objectives and enhance associate performance. This role fosters strong partnerships with stakeholders to identify learning needs, develop content, and promote continuous improvement. By overseeing program effectiveness and facilitating skill development, the manager supports operational excellence and drives organizational growth. The position ensures adherence to governance standards while cultivating a learning environment that advances talent capabilities and contributes to achieving strategic goals across the company. Willing to Travel up to 85% of the time.
What you'll do: • Lead safety training on hazard recognition, risk assessment, stop-work authority, and safe low-voltage work practices.
• Teach safe use of tools, ladders, lifts, test equipment, and components, along with PPE, fall prevention, electrical safety, and driving safety.
• Train technicians in retail environments, including backroom, rooftop, and equipment room access.
• Deliver technical training on CCTV, fire alarms, PA systems, intrusion systems, and low-voltage cabling.
• Coach structured troubleshooting, quality standards, and documentation accuracy.
• Develop training materials, learning paths, and assessments.
• Evaluate competency, maintain records, and partner with field leaders to improve training.
What you'll bring: - Experience working with low voltage and life safety/security systems including CCTV, fire alarms, P.A. systems, and intrusion alarms.
- NICET certification or equivalent industry-recognized credential in fire/life safety systems.
- Strong knowledge of safe work practices for field service and installation environments.
- Experience training, coaching, mentoring, or leading technicians in formal or informal settings.
- Ability to deliver hands-on instruction and adapt to different learning styles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical documentation.
- Must reside in the California, Navada, Utah, or Colorado or reside near major airport.
- Must be willing to travel up to 85% of the year.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
