Full Job Description
Summary: This role is responsible for establishing and managing the IT procurement strategy, processes, and procedures in alignment with corporate policy, IT project requirements, and industry best practices. The position oversees the full cycle of IT purchases, manages supplier relationships, and ensures the timely and cost-effective acquisition of IT products and services.

Responsibilities:
  • Recommend and establish IT procurement strategies, processes, and procedures.
  • Execute systematic processes for timely and cost-effective purchasing of IT products and services.
  • Manage the IT procurement function, including purchase orders, vendor negotiations, and invoice coordination.
  • Oversee the full cycle of IT purchases, agreements, and contracts from initiation to completion.
  • Manage supplier relationships and service level agreements with vendors.
  • Act as a liaison between IT and vendors for dispute resolution.
  • Evaluate supplier base for cost-saving opportunities.
  • Identify and engage new suppliers to support IT requirements.

Required skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of business experience, including managing teams in asset management, procurement, or finance.
  • Experience in middle-level management, working under the direction of senior management.
  • Ability to manage and mentor supervisors, project leads, and technical staff.
  • Proven experience in handling multiple, complex projects as a leader and subject matter expert.
  • Strong communication skills, frequently collaborating with senior leadership such as CIO, CFO, or Chief Sourcing Officer.
