The OpportunityWe are seeking a highly organized, systems-minded Manager of IT Business Applications for G&A to support day-to-day operations for Amylyx's HR, Finance, Legal, and Procurement systems, with NetSuite ERP as the primary focus. This customer-facing role will support, maintain, and enhance business applications; troubleshoot system and transaction issues; execute change controls; and partner cross-functionally to improve processes, data quality, controls, reporting, and user experience. The position will work closely with business stakeholders, IT colleagues, and external partners to ensure Amylyx has stable, scalable, and well-supported applications that meet evolving business needs.
We anticipate hiring the Manager, IT Business Applications - G&A in September 2026.Responsibilities- Support NetSuite activities such as inventory, purchasing, receiving, fulfillment, warehouse, and related Finance/Supply Chain processes, including item data, transactions, controls, reconciliations, reporting, and issue resolution.
- Support successful implementations, administration, and ongoing support of Amylyx business applications.
- Partner with HR, Finance, Legal, Procurement, Supply Chain, and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze workflows, document business processes, and translate needs into practical system and operational solutions.
- Troubleshoot day-to-day system, data, workflow, and transaction issues; coordinate timely resolution with internal teams and external support providers.
- Create and maintain saved searches, reports, dashboards, data extracts, user documentation, training materials, issue logs, test scripts, and related support materials.
- Support change management, governance, testing, user acceptance activities, and implementation of enhancements in accordance with business needs and IT procedures.
- Ensure appropriate IT processes, procedures, standards, controls, and documentation practices are followed, including support for audit activities as needed.
- Identify and recommend opportunities to improve data quality, reduce manual work, strengthen controls, streamline workflows, and enhance the user experience.
- Build effective working relationships across business functions, IT, and external partners while providing responsive, customer-focused support.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of IT experience with progressively increasing technical, business analysis, and application support responsibilities
- 3+ years of hands-on ERP experience, such as enhancement projects, data migration, and process improvements. NetSuite strongly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite Inventory Management or comparable ERP functionality, including item master data, inventory adjustments, transfers, receipts, fulfillments, and inventory reporting.
- Strong understanding of inventory control concepts, including cycle counts, reconciliations, receipts, transfers, adjustments, and inventory accuracy.
- Ability to troubleshoot system and transaction issues, identify root causes, and partner with business users to resolve errors.
- Experience creating business process documentation, training materials, issue logs, user guides, test scripts, or related support documentation.
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with executives, managers, subject matter experts, business users, IT colleagues, and external partners.
- Strong customer service orientation, attention to detail, data accuracy, and commitment to strong system hygiene.
- Ability to manage multiple work requests across business areas while balancing daily support, enhancements, documentation, testing, and continuous improvement activities.
- Experience supporting regulated environments, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or SOX-controlled environments.
- Process-oriented, collaborative, service-minded, and comfortable improving ambiguous or manual workflows while escalating issues and driving follow-through across teams.
- Able and willing to travel to the Cambridge, MA office 1-2 days per week.
Work Location and Conditions- At Amylyx, we proudly support remote work opportunities within the United States. However, due to business considerations related to health insurance coverage and state tax regulations, we are unable to hire employees who reside and/or work in certain states. Currently, we are not considering applicants from Alaska, Arizona, Hawaii, Michigan and Tennessee.
- Preference will be given to candidates who reside in the New England region and can be in person on an as needed basis.
- You will be expected to travel to our corporate location in Cambridge, MA several times a year and attend other company-related events as necessary and requested, which may include travel by air, driving or public transportation.
- You must have access to work in setting that meets all requirements of the role (including privacy, reliable internet access, phone, ability to communication via video conference, etc.) at your remote location.
CompensationThe pay range posted below represents our good faith estimate of compensation for this role, based on market data and internal benchmarks. The final offer may vary depending on a candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications, as well as considerations of internal equity.
