The Manager, IT Delivery leads a team responsible for delivering and supporting enterprise AI capabilities that enable scalable, secure, and compliant intelligent experiences across the organization. This role oversees the delivery and operational support of conversational AI orchestration platforms, knowledge management and retrieval services, model governance and observability practices, and conversation compliance and retention pipelines. Working closely with product, architecture, compliance, and technology stakeholders, the Manager drives roadmap execution, aligns priorities across complex initiatives, manages delivery risks, and ensures operational excellence. The ideal candidate combines strong engineering leadership with experience delivering AI-enabled solutions in large-scale enterprise environments while promoting responsible and effective use of emerging technologies.
Responsibilities:
Hires, evaluates, and supervises crew. Provides coaching, guidance, and development support as needed. Sets performance expectations, reviews performance, and makes informed compensation decisions in accordance with applicable Human Resources policies and procedures.
Owns delivery of software releases for the team’s orchestration platforms, knowledge management capabilities, and shared AI infrastructure. Partners with business and technology stakeholders to define scope, clarify environmental needs, and support successful implementation.
Works closely with management to develop and implement staffing and operational plans across the team's workstreams. Participates in the development of short- and long-term department goals. Monitors and reports on service delivery metrics and overall performance.
Develops and implements changes to department policies and procedures to meet changing business needs and to achieve department objectives, including data compliance and retention practices. Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement.
Leads quality initiatives to improve the delivery of service levels, including model governance and observability practices. Works with senior management in the planning, development, and execution of short- and long-range goals.
Presents status, metrics, risks, and department initiatives to management and project peers. Builds and maintains relationships with technical teams, IT, compliance partners, and other stakeholder groups to support alignment and effective delivery.
Participates in the development of the department budget. Reviews expenses and ensures department operates within budgetary guidelines.
Ensures staff comply with information technology and information security policies and procedures, particularly around data handling and compliance, and verifies that deliverables meet requirements.
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Eight years related experience, including experience leading engineering teams and complex technology initiatives.
Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.
Demonstrated experience leading software engineering teams and applying AI technologies in enterprise environments, including vendor engagement and systems integration.
Familiarity with AI model governance, observability practices, and data compliance expectations for regulated industries.
Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to align stakeholders and communicate effectively with senior leaders.
Proven ability to manage teams and drive transformational initiatives in complex, enterprise environments.
