POSITION SUMMARY The Manager, Inventory Control Operations supports and maintains development, improvement, implementations, and maintaining accuracy and records to ensure the inventory and quality in the warehouse meets local and global DSV standards. The Manager will monitor inventory levels, product movement, control/isolates non-conforming product mix which facilitates efficient order fulfillment. This position will also be responsible for quality activities to support the warehouse including, but not limited to receiving, shipping, and other related functions. This includes tracking, investigating and correcting OS&D (over, short and damage). The Manager will oversee the functions performed by inventory and quality associates and other such staff.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Promote and support safety initiatives while ensuring adherence to workplace safety standards for all associates.
- Oversee inventory control activities, including cycle counts and random audits, in line with network counting methodologies and SOX compliance requirements.
- Monitor inventory accuracy, quality metrics, and product integrity, providing timely feedback and recommendations to the operations leadership team.
- Evaluate customer complaints and defect trends, then develop and implement corrective action plans to minimize recurring issues.
- Investigate inventory variances and determine root causes through structured analysis and problem-solving techniques.
- Contribute to and lead fulfillment network quality and operational excellence initiatives across multiple sites.
- Support strategic workforce planning, forecasting, and the allocation of tasks and resources.
- Manage and mentor Inventory Supervisors and hourly associates responsible for Inventory Control and Quality Assurance functions within the fulfillment center.
- Direct ICQA leadership activities by guiding Inventory Supervisors, monitoring performance, and driving accountability across the team.
- Champion continuous improvement efforts, enhance team capabilities to support business growth, and foster employee engagement and retention.
- Develop a strong understanding of fulfillment center workflows, process exceptions, and operational standards, ensuring consistent execution across all shifts and departments.
- Review key performance indicators on a regular basis and conduct audits and analyses to identify process behaviors that may impact inventory accuracy.
- Partner with department leaders to identify, evaluate, and support critical projects, operational initiatives, and system improvements.
- Collaborate with Loss Prevention teams to implement, maintain, and reinforce security policies and procedures.
- Work closely with Operations Managers, Senior Operations Managers, and General Managers to ensure clear communication and enforcement of process compliance expectations.
- Participate in the recruitment, interviewing, and selection of new management team members.
SKILLS & ABILITIES Education & Experience: - Must have a high school diploma or GED. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Preferred 5 years' experience in a medium to large warehouse in a management capacity.
- 2 years' experience as an Inventory Manager.
- Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during the warmer and colder months that can range from mild to moderate.
Computer Skills: - Strong computer skills and MS Office Applications.

- WMS Functions
- Microsoft Excel
Certificates & Licenses: - Quality related certifications preferred.
- Satisfactory completion of forklift training program
Language Skills- English (reading, writing, verbal), Bilinginual English/Spanish preferred.
Mathematical Skills - Intermediated level to verify quantities of product, count inventory, or perform other duties associated with handling, storing, and distributing client products.
Other Skills - Effective communication skills.
- Good supervisory and people skills.
- Ability to develop work instructions, procedures, and visual aids to support the operation.
- Work extra hours as dictated by business needs.
- Train and/or certified in common inventory management, methodologies and tools like six-sigma and lean.

- Demonstrated ability to teach, coach, mentor, and support project team members to learn and master continuous improvement concepts and skills in an indirect supervisory relationship.

For this position, the expected base pay range is $82,560.00 - $123,840.00 . Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
