THE OPPORTUNITY

We're looking for a professional with a strong blend of analytical rigor and strategic storytelling ability and a passion for purpose-driven work to join our team as a Manager, Insight & Strategy. In this role, you will lead and support research, analysis, messaging and strategic planning work that transforms complex data and information into actionable insights and compelling communications. You'll help clients understand what matters most, identify strategic opportunities, and develop narratives that resonate with key audiences.

This role is ideal for someone who is equally comfortable working with research and data as they are with messaging, positioning and writing. The ideal candidate can uncover meaningful insights, connect them to broader business and stakeholder objectives, and communicate them clearly and persuasively across a variety of audiences. Experience supporting public affairs, reputation management, issues management, or other complex stakeholder communications initiatives is strongly preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Conducts and synthesizes qualitative and quantitative research from a variety of sources to identify meaningful insights, trends and strategic opportunities.
  • Analyzes data and research findings to develop clear implications and recommendations for clients and internal teams.
  • Develops strategic messaging, positioning platforms and audience-focused communications grounded in research and insights.
  • Demonstrates strong writing and editing skills across reports, presentations, messaging frameworks, briefing materials and client communications.
  • Translates complex information into compelling narratives tailored to specific audiences and objectives.
  • Supports the creation of insightful reports, strategic recommendations and client-ready deliverables.
  • Supports public affairs, reputation management, issues management and stakeholder communications initiatives.
  • Presents findings and recommendations clearly and confidently to clients and stakeholders.
  • Coaches and guides Associate and Junior Associate team members.
  • Contributes to proposal development and business development efforts.
  • Identifies innovative approaches for communicating insights and strategic opportunities.


Additionally, the ideal candidate meets these qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience in strategy, insights, communications, public affairs, research, marketing, consulting or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience working across data analysis, research, messaging, positioning and strategic communications, ideally in an agency, consultancy or similarly fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional writing, editing and presentation skills.
  • Ability to convert research findings and complex information into clear, compelling and actionable narratives.
  • Experience supporting public affairs, reputation management, issues management or stakeholder communications is preferred.
  • Willingness and availability to travel occasionally.
  • Experience with research and survey platforms such as Qualtrics and SurveyMonkey.
  • Experience using analytics, AI and insight tools to enhance research and strategy work preferred.


The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. The final agreed upon compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including but not limited to: candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experiences and may fall outside the range shown. PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK CONDITIONS

The physical activity required of this position includes standing, walking, lifting, pulling, pushing, kneeling, reaching, stooping, talking, hearing and use of repetitive motion. Light work is required of this position, occasionally lifting or moving objects between 10-20 pounds. The visual acuity of this position requires the ability to operate a motor vehicle. This position will not be substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
