Job DescriptionThe Insider Threat Investigations & Analytics Team is responsible for the organization's insider threat program, driving a cross-functional strategy including detection, investigation, response and mitigation of insider risks.
The Service Manager for Insider Threat Investigations is accountable for the end-to-end execution, oversight, and quality of insider threat investigations, ensuring timely, legally defensible, and risk-appropriate responses to suspected insider activity.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and oversee complex insider threat investigations, including data loss, fraud, system misuse, and policy violations.
- Ensure investigations are conducted in accordance with Allstate policies, legal requirements, regulatory standards, and internal controls.
- Direct investigative strategies across SaaS platforms, cloud infrastructure, and on-premises systems, leveraging digital forensics, behavioral evidence, and correlated analytics.
- Maintain accountability for case lifecycle management, documentation standards, evidence handling, and defensibility.
- Partner closely with Allstate Legal counsel on privileged matters, escalation decisions, and engagement with law enforcement or external partners when warranted.
- Coordinate containment, corrective actions, and remediation activities with enterprise stakeholders.
- Provide clear investigative insights, risk assessments, and recommendations to Insider Threat leadership and executives.
- Build, mentor, and lead a team of investigators, reinforcing professional judgment, confidentiality, and ethical investigation practices.
Key Qualifications- 5+ years of experience in insider threat programs, cybersecurity investigations, or risk analytics.
- Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong knowledge of data analytics, behavioral monitoring, and forensic investigation techniques.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR).

CompensationCompensation offered for this role is $134,000 - 196,000 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
