Manager, Influencer

The Influencer Manager is responsible for mobilizing trusted voices to drive brand equity and growth, while balancing real-time reputation management and cultural navigation. This role will establish and maintain an always-on ecosystem of advocates, ambassadors, and cultural connectors across influencer tiers, ensuring Pet Nutrition brands have a consistent, trusted voice in the market. The role will be responsible for the end-to-end influencer relationship: from talent identification and assessment, to co creating world class content that drives brand-love and converts to business outcomes.

What would be your key responsibilities?

Influencer Strategy & Portfolio Architecture
  • Partners with the Sr. Manager, Influencer to define the portfolio strategy: including always on ambassadors vs. campaign influencers, balance of allocation across tiers, and strategic paid support. Stewards the long-term portfolio of influencer relationships rather than treating the work as a series of one-off deals
  • Partners with Manager, Social & Communities to determine how influencer strategically fits within the full social strategy inclusive of creator, evergreen, and agile content.
  • Owns the agile operating model that enables moving at cultural speed. Uses real-time monitoring, predictive insights, and rapid response systems aligned to consumer behavior and trust to identify trends that drive opportunity and mitigate risk.

Talent Identification & Vetting
  • Sources creators using platforms (Captiv8 or comparable) and informed instinct.
  • Partners with agencies for Risk Assessments and uses knowledge of brands to ensure audience fit, brand safety, consideration of past content, and authenticity signals before partnerships move forward

Brief Development + Content Review
  • Writes influencer briefs that give direction without killing authenticity; protects the creator's voice while ensuring brand requirements are met
  • Reviews content within Captiv8 platform and provides constructive feedback that advances creative direction while meeting brand needs.

Relationship Management
  • Builds durable relationships with priority creators and their management or agents.
  • Recognizes that the strongest creator programs are built on multi-year relationships, not one-off deals.

Campaign Activation
  • Runs creator campaigns from brief through post-campaign reporting
  • Coordinates with integrated planning and media (for boosting), the Community Manager (for amplification and engagement), and content operations (for rights and reuse)
  • Performance Measurement Trains and enables the broader IC&M function on AI writing: when to use it, how to prompt well, what to review for, what good looks like
  • Builds the capability into the team rather than concentrating it in a single role

Performance Measurement
  • Partners with analytics to measure what creator work delivers: reach, engagement, conversion, brand lift, sentiment
  • Establish and measure against KPIs that ladder into MMM, and relevant Corporate Affairs measurement frameworks.
  • Embodies a culture of continuous improvement and feedback loops; constantly learning from results and evolving future content while clearly communicating findings to relevant stakeholders. Utilize tools like This That to test for effectiveness and demonstrate consistent application of learnings to new content.

Compliance & Risk Management
  • Owns FTC and ASA disclosure compliance, controversy monitoring, morals-clause enforcement, and crisis response when a creator becomes a liability

Creator-First Content Pipeline
  • Works with content operations to turn influencer content into brand content (with rights), recognizing that creator-made often outperforms brand-made


This role is based in Franklin, TN with regular in-office collaboration expected. Flexibility is a key enabler-empowering associates to make choices that support both business outcomes and personal needs, including occasional remote work.
