A solid foundation of healthcare industry knowledge and a deep understanding of key internal controls related toIT,cybersecurity,and otherhealthcarebusiness functions likerevenue cycle, compliance, privacy, operational, clinical, and/or financial processes.
A strong understanding of technology risk management,cybersecurityprinciples,andcontrol frameworks within healthcare environments
Experience assessingtechnology risksand enhancing controls acrosssecurity,identity, infrastructure, applications, and data environments
Knowledge of healthcare-specific cybersecurity risks, including ransomware, medical device security, EHR vulnerabilities, and third-party ecosystem risk
Specificfocus on areas of technology included: cybersecurity, cloud, data governance, analytics, electronic medical records (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Meditech, etc.), enterprise applications (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics etc.), disaster recovery, systems development methodologies etc.
Understandingcommonly used information technology frameworks / regulatory requirements, including HIPAA, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, HITRUST CSF, ISO 27001, COBIT, ITIL, etc.
Experience with emerging technologies such as AI and automation, with a focus on governance, security, and risk implications.
Ability to translatetechnologyrisks and technical topics into clear, actionable insights for executive stakeholders
Strong analytical skills, including the ability to evaluate data,identifytrends, and provide risk-based recommendations
Advanced verbal and written communication skills, including executive-level presentations and documentation
Experience working in fast-paced environments, managing multiple priorities, and adapting to change
Experience leading teams, managing project delivery, and contributing to client account growth
Ability to build relationships, develop thought leadership, and contribute to internal and external initiatives
Your Educational and ProfessionalQualifications:
5+ years working incyber security, technology risk,consulting, or related field, either in professional services or healthcare industry.
Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Healthcare Administration,Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science,Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business-Related Field)required.
Proficiencyin Microsoft Office suite applications with specific emphasis on Word,Exceland PowerPoint. Secondary emphasis on Visio and Access.
ProficiencyinPowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, Python, and/or RPA Solutionsa plus.
Professional certification such asCISSP,CISA, CISM, or similar preferred.
