  • A solid foundation of healthcare industry knowledge and a deep understanding of key internal controls related toIT,cybersecurity,and otherhealthcarebusiness functions likerevenue cycle, compliance, privacy, operational, clinical, and/or financial processes.

  • A strong understanding of technology risk management,cybersecurityprinciples,andcontrol frameworks within healthcare environments

  • Experience assessingtechnology risksand enhancing controls acrosssecurity,identity, infrastructure, applications, and data environments

  • Knowledge of healthcare-specific cybersecurity risks, including ransomware, medical device security, EHR vulnerabilities, and third-party ecosystem risk

  • Specificfocus on areas of technology included: cybersecurity, cloud, data governance, analytics, electronic medical records (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Meditech, etc.), enterprise applications (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics etc.), disaster recovery, systems development methodologies etc.

  • Understandingcommonly used information technology frameworks / regulatory requirements, including HIPAA, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, HITRUST CSF, ISO 27001, COBIT, ITIL, etc.

  • Experience with emerging technologies such as AI and automation, with a focus on governance, security, and risk implications.

  • Ability to translatetechnologyrisks and technical topics into clear, actionable insights for executive stakeholders

  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to evaluate data,identifytrends, and provide risk-based recommendations

  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills, including executive-level presentations and documentation

  • Experience working in fast-paced environments, managing multiple priorities, and adapting to change

  • Experience leading teams, managing project delivery, and contributing to client account growth

  • Ability to build relationships, develop thought leadership, and contribute to internal and external initiatives

Your Educational and ProfessionalQualifications:

  • 5+ years working incyber security, technology risk,consulting, or related field, either in professional services or healthcare industry.

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Healthcare Administration,Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science,Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business-Related Field)required.

  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Office suite applications with specific emphasis on Word,Exceland PowerPoint. Secondary emphasis on Visio and Access.

  • ProficiencyinPowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, Python, and/or RPA Solutionsa plus.

  • Professional certification such asCISSP,CISA, CISM, or similar preferred.
