Piedmont is seeking a motivated, reliable leader to join our team as a Manager, Ground Operations Training in our American Regional Training Department. The primary responsibility of the position is oversight of below-the-wing training programs and the learning management system for ground handling employees. This position oversees a team of Curriculum Developers, Learning Management System (LMS) analysts and Ground Operations Analysts. The successful candidate will at least two years of airline ramp experience, proficiency with learning management systems, and excellent time management skills. This position will report to the Director, American Regional Training.
Essential Duties:- Oversee training curricula for all below-the-wing training, security, cabin appearance, and deicing
- Oversee administration of learning management system for ground handling employees
- Oversee training content development
- Oversee train-the-trainer programs and security training programs
- Manage a team of learning professionals
- Manage training projects
- Coach and provide career development to the team
Job Qualifications and Competencies:- Two (2) years of airline ramp experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and learning management systems
- Excellent time management skills
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Ability to defuse conflicts among team members
Preferred Qualifications:- Five (5) years of airline ramp and deicing experience
- Bachelor's degree or above
- Previous supervisory experience
- Experience administering learning management systems
- Public speaking experience
Work Environment:- Standard office environment, use of telephones, computers, and other office equipment
- Some travel may be required
Physical Requirements:- Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds

Starting Rate:$71,000.00/Hourly - 87,000.00/Hourly (Based on locale and experience)
