We are seeking an experienced healthcare finance leader with recent hospital Controller, Finance Director, or Assistant CFO experience supporting complex acute care hospital operations. The successful candidate will be comfortable operating in a highly visible role, leading accounting process improvements, partnering with hospital leadership, and independently managing the financial close and reporting functions for a large, complex health system.

What we’re looking for
Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. Additional qualifications include:
7+ years of progressive healthcare finance/accounting experience, including recent hospital-based accounting leadership experience. Acute care hospital experience strongly preferred.
Experience supporting complex, multi-facility healthcare systems, integrated delivery networks, or large hospital operations preferred.
This position requires an experienced healthcare finance leader capable of operating independently in a high-visibility environment with minimal onboarding and oversight.
Proven ability to partner directly with hospital CEOs, COOs, department directors, and operational leadership teams to drive financial performance and process improvement.
Demonstrated success leading accounting process improvements, standardization initiatives, close optimization efforts, and change management within healthcare organizations.
Expertise in P&L and balance sheet analysis, revenue valuation, and month-end close processes.
Proven ability to manage reconciliations, journal entries, and post-close reporting.
Strong understanding of revenue recognition, project and capital accounting, and other key accounting processes.
Experience with Oracle, EPM, and financial reporting tools; familiarity with RCA and revenue accounting preferred.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
