Bill Gosling Outsourcing Corp.We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Manager, Finance & Reporting to join our growing finance team. Reporting to the Global Corporate Controller, this critical role is responsible for overseeing the company's financial reporting processes, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, and delivering clear, impactful financial insights to senior leadership and key stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a Canadian CPA designation holder who brings deep technical knowledge of ASC 842 (Lease Accounting) and ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition), combined with exceptional communication and presentation skills.

What You'll Do:

Financial Reporting & Compliance
  • Financial Reporting & Close: Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all financial statements in accordance with GAAP and IFRS requirements.
  • ASC 842 - Lease Accounting: Oversee and manage all aspects of lease accounting under ASC 842, including lease classification, measurement of right-of-use assets and lease liabilities, journal entries, and required disclosures.
  • ASC 606 - Revenue Recognition: Manage revenue recognition policies and procedures under ASC 606, including contract assessment, performance obligation identification, transaction price allocation, and fulfillment of recognition criteria.
  • Technical Accounting: Research complex accounting issues, prepare technical accounting memos, and provide guidance to the business on the application of new and emerging accounting standards.
  • Internal Controls: Design, implement, and monitor robust internal controls over financial reporting to ensure compliance and safeguard company assets.


Reporting, Analysis & Leadership
  • Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Legal, FP&A, and External Auditors to support all financial reporting needs.
  • Audit Support: Serve as a primary point of contact for external auditors; coordinate the preparation and delivery of audit requests and documentation packages.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to streamline and automate financial reporting processes, improving efficiency and the quality of financial data.
  • Team Leadership: This role does not have direct reports but will serve as a mentor to a team of financial analysts & Accountants, providing coaching and career development guidance.


Compensation & Structure:

Salary: CAD 90,000 - 110,000 (Depending on Experience)

Location: either our office in Barrie (55 Mulcaster Street, Suite 600, Barrie, Ontario, L4M 0J4) or in London (345 Ridout St N, Suite 200, London, ON, N6A 2N8)

Work Model: Hybrid (at least 3 times in office)
