Job Description

The Manager, Finance - Moen Retail will be a key business partner for our sales and product leaders within our Moen Retail business and lead many of the critical commercial processes. The main goal of this role is to drive pro-active actionable insights to help influence strategy and create long-term shareholder value. A strong background in business partnership, P&L management and data driven decision making is required. This role has no direct reports and will drive results through coordination with cross-functional teams. It reports to the Sr Director, Finance - Moen

Position location: This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule based out of Deerfield, IL. (Flexibility to work from home Mondays and Fridays)

RESPONSIBLIITIES:
  • Develop deep understanding of customer gross to net programs, oversee gross to net calculation and accuracy within GAAP, and partner with sales, RGM to optimize spending.
  • Provide financial support and thought leadership to the sales and product leaders while working cross-functionally to drive profitable growth and help shape strategic priorities & initiatives.
  • Become a subject matter expert of the category and develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and market.
  • Be a strategic business partner to the Moen Retail sales team and channel marketing organizations by providing financial guidance, and insights to ultimately measure and enhance performance.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly presentations to explain variances and create corrective action plans.
  • Manage and ensure accuracy of all commission reporting, monthly and quarterly sales reporting, and other ad-hoc analysis for the segment.
  • Partner with sales, RGM, and channel teams to evaluate new business proposals and opportunities.
  • Work closely with sales to develop and drive the sales forecasting process
  • Own and drive annual budget and strategic planning process for the retail business
  • Own and drive monthly P&L forecast process
  • Additional projects as assigned by the GM/Sr Dir, Finance


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related quantitative field
  • 7+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or related field required. 10+ years of experience preferred.
  • Must possess strong communication (oral and written) and analytical skills with ability to communicate detailed analysis into relevant, clear, and concise information leading to actionable initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of P&L management, financial modeling, investment evaluation, and cost optimization strategies.
  • Experience using data in decision-making and identifying trends.
  • Ability to influence others in a highly cross-functional and matrix environment.
  • Strategic and financial planning process background
  • Preparing analysis for presentation at senior levels.
  • Track record of process leadership and process improvement.
  • Proficiency with Excel modeling and data management as well as PowerPoint
  • Deliver agreed upon objectives with high integrity and in a sustainable manner.
  • Microsoft application skills (Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint)

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $90,000 USD - $143,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
