The
Manager, Finance & Accounting is responsible for all finance and accounting for a specific division of the company, including monthly and quarterly close activities, forecasting and budgeting, cash management, external audit relationships, and the quarterly partner distribution calculations. This role will also lead the integration of the division into the larger NTT DATA Business Solutions organization, including ERP consolidation onto SAP, company code/legal entity and master data design, the transition of divisional reporting from US GAAP to IFRS, and retiring the standalone division's accounting environment.
This is a leadership position reporting to the CFO. The integration is a defined mandate within the role; on completion, the incumbent continues to own forecasting and accounting for the division as an ongoing part of NTT DATA Business Solutions.
Responsibilities/Duties- Lead and develop a team of accounting professionals
- Single point of accountability for Finance and Accounting functions for the division.
- Integration and systems
- Lead the finance and accounting workstream for the integration of a specific separate Division into NDBS
- Consolidate the division's ERP environment onto SAP; design company code, chart of accounts, and master data structures
- Convert divisional reporting and deliver the parent reporting package
- Align accounting policy, close calendar, and procedures to NDBS standards
- Decommission the standalone accounting environment and its supporting tools
- Accounting support
- Own the monthly and quarterly close, including intercompany and multi-currency activity
- Own cash management, collections, and disbursements for the division
- Manage the external audit relationship and support statutory and tax filings
- Support purchase accounting and opening balance sheet matters arising from acquisition
- Reporting and controls
- Own forecasting and annual budgeting for the division, partnering with division leadership
- Deliver monthly and quarterly reporting to division leadership and to the parent organization
- Maintain & strengthen the internal controls, including gaps identified during integration
- Ensure compliance with NTT DATA Business Solutions accounting policy and reporting
Qualifications/Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, related field
- CPA and 6+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including 5+ years leading teams
- Post-acquisition integration or ERP consolidation experience, ideally on SAP
- Ownership of a full close cycle in a multi-entity environment
- Experience managing people through a systems transition
- Working knowledge of and experience reporting under or converting between US GAAP and IFRS
- Experience owning forecasting and budgeting alongside controllership responsibilities
- Cincinnati, OH area preferred.
The annual base compensation range for this role will be $132,195 - $204,772. The exact compensation at which this job is filled will be determined by a number of factors including but not limited to organizational needs and the qualified candidate's skill set, certifications, and experience.
