Work Location : Snyder, TXCrusoe is seeking a skilled and reliable Manager of Facility Operations to oversee the daily physical operations, maintenance, and safety of our corporate facilities. In this role, you will manage all building systems, lead a dedicated maintenance team, coordinate with external vendors, and ensure our workspace remains safe, efficient, and fully functional. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge of building systems, excellent leadership skills, and experience managing operational budgets.
What You'll Be Working On:
- Coordinate and oversee installation, inspection, and repair of facility equipment including HVAC, plumbing, fire/life safety, UPS systems, PDU, switchgear, generators, and cooling infrastructure.
- Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting of systems to ensure continuous operation and regulatory compliance.
- Manage employees, vendors and contractors, ensuring work meets site requirements and deadlines, including proper documentation and adherence to escalation protocols.
- Maintain logs, equipment manuals, SOPs, and other technical documentation related to the facility's operation.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including hazardous material handling and emergency response protocols.
- Monitor BMS/DCIM tools and provide escalation and resolution for alarms or issues.
- Support internal teams on deployments, installations, and service requests related to the physical infrastructure.
- Serve as the escalation point for after-hours facility events and critical incidents.
- Train and mentor junior staff on standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
What You'll Bring to the Team:
- 5 to 10 years of experience in mission-critical environments such as data centers, hospitals, or high-availability industrial facilities.
- Strong working knowledge of HVAC systems, emergency power systems, electrical distribution, and fire suppression.
- Experience supervising technicians and/or contractors in high-uptime environments.
- Understanding of UPS systems, power distribution units, transfer switches, and building automation systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, blueprints, and equipment schematics.
- EPA 608 certification (required within 90 days of hire).
- Familiarity with DCIM, BMS, or maintenance platforms such as ServiceNow, MCIM, or Corrigo.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Willingness to be on-call and respond to facility emergencies after hours.
Bonus Points
- Experience supporting rapid data center buildouts or greenfield site launches
- Familiarity with critical infrastructure automation tools (e.g., SCADA, PLC systems)
- Background working in hybrid environments with both cloud and on-prem compute
- Ability to create and implement Standard and Emergency Operating Procedures (SOPs/EOPs)
- Experience coordinating cross-functional response during facilities-related incidents
- Knowledge of environmental compliance standards related to power and cooling systems

Compensation RangeCompensation will be paid in the range of up to $140,000 - $194,000 + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicants knowledge, education, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
